What Shampoo Do You Use?

I am just wondering what shampoo and conditioner brands you use. I usually stick to Pantene and Vive but I am wanting to try something else. I usually buy two differnt ones and alternate. It takes me so long to go through a bottle (about a year) I'd hate to buy something I don't like only to toss it.
What do you buy? Are you loyal to it or do you try different shampoos?

I usually buy two differnt ones and alternate.

What can I do next?

I'm the same type of person, I have a few favorites. I recently tried Aussie Moist and love it. I also like to rotate two different shampoos and also like the Salon Selective line.

I use to use pantene and notice my hair being too soft my daughters hair seem not to be clean by the ned of the day. so we switched to Paul Mitchel. You can by it pretty much any hair place, Mally's,and I think sally's. We have had very good results.

S. ; yes i am pretty loyal to my pantene pro v , but if it happens that i need shampoo and money is tight, then i will usually buy suave, but i prefer pantene and go right back to it, but i buy the curls pantene, i have perfectly straight hair, the reason i buy it is it moisturizes better than the moisturizing shampoo from pantene, so give it a try, however avons moisture shampoo is equivalent, to pantene but i still prefer pantene, D. s

I'm such a sensualist -- I buy whatever smells good. I love Redken, but don't often splurge for it... nothing quite like the morning wake up with their grapefruit-scent!

I generally use Redkin or whatever my hair stylist recommends. Sometimes if I'm short cash I'll just pick something up at the grocery to get me through but my hairdresser did tell me that whatever I did, stay away from Pantene. She said a customer of hers used it and there was so much wax buildup (they put a ton of wax in Pantene) that she couldn't even get the color to stick to her hair. It just washed right out every time.

I've used Garnier Fructise or whatever it is and have liked that. I find I need to switch it up from time to time. Seems like it builds up on your hair after awhile.

I love Biolage or any of the Matrix salon line. If you watch sales at JC Penny or even Bo Rics, you can get a really good deal on the super large size bottles and they will last quite a while. I know it is a little more expensive intially, but you will see a huge difference with your hair. I sometimes get 6 months out of a bottle if not longer. Hope this helps.

Have you ever tried Burt's Bees shampoo/conditioner? They run for $8/bottle but if you go to Walgreens/RiteAid/CVS usually one of them has them on sale. I think its worth the price though because it always makes my hair really soft and shiny. I alternate too with other all natural brands but Burt's is always in the mix. The more natural/organic stuff doesn't always cause that buildup that regular brands do. Another good one is Jason's Botin shampoo/conditioner. I got it once at Kmart for $4/bottle but you can find it more likely at the Better Health Store, its really good too because it has Biotin which is a vitamin supplement for your hair/skin/nails. I do agree with the woman that said to try to get samples - everyone's hair is different so is nice to only spend a little to find out what's best for you. I don't know about Jason's but Burt's Bees has a kit you can buy but it comes with body wash and chapstick and a few other things.

I look for something as natural as possable. Trader Joes has a shampoo & conditioner that don't have the preservitives, it's called Tee Tree Tingel is about 3.00and e. Our personal hygine products are full of harmful chemicals so thats why I get the natural ones.

Hello,

I feel like I have used every shampoo out there, I used to get whatever was on sale, herbal essence, ausse, suave, but my stylist reccomended the Tigi-Bed Head line, and I LOVE it! I specifically use "dumb Blonde" Its not just for blond's but anyone with chemically treated hair, so it repairs after my highlights,lo-lights or color. I love it, the best place to get it is Trade Secret or your stylist, you can get both bottles (shampoo and cond.) for 20- and there big bottles, they last me 6 months with shoulder length hair. Whatever you do dont get them somewhere like k-mart or meijer, they charge 13 or so for each bottle!!!

I hope you try it, it's amazing!

I don't as a rule use or buy the stuff at the stores. I get my shampoo/conditioner through a company. It is a MLM, but I just purchase the products I want. They don't have carcinogens in them. Same with deodorant.

So many options, so little time! I use Royal Spa products. They are not loaded with chemicals and stuff that I don't want to expose my body to. Chamomile Shampoo is a gentle, purifying shampoo for everyday use. It frees hair from buildup without stripping its natural moisture. It normalizes hair and acalp with enriched botanical extracts. Yes, I am a distributor! :) We also have formulas for chemically treated hair and styling products. Salon quality, not salon priced!

I use the suave professionals. Its cheaper than any of the good shampoos like matrix and pantene and I think it works just as well or even better. I get the sleek king for my frizzy hair and it works a lot better then pantene.

I use Suave professionals...there are different kinds for your needs I use the stuff for color treated hair and my 7yo daughter uses the stuff for making her hair sleek as it is to her waist... I have tried some of the cheap brands and stay away from anything that is around $1 in price because it does not do the job......if you want to try a shampoo get the trial size you aren't always going to find all shampoo brands in travel sizes and they are not a good deal but it is worth the little extra to try it out

John Frieda has really good hair products and theya re really not that expensive, but my husband says if you can save 2 bucks buy the Herbal!
