So What Happened?

thank you all for your advise the pediatrician said he dont know what to think yet, becouse when rainen was born the docters said he might have a syndrom that he was deformed that he would have a club foot but his foot was fine i got a chromosome check to look for any signs of syndroms and it came back normal and the genetic docter said he didnt look deformed. he dose have problems with his kidney and his testicals have not droped but we just recently got that fixed. so are pediatrician does not know what to think yet. but he does try alot to sit up the docter did say that he just needs to build mucsels in his stomech but for some reason the way he smiles at me and look at me or at anything it seem like he is aware of things and he loves the tv i just hope he well be fine. sorry for the spelling

I used a backpack for baby when she was little, so I could do chores, and have her on me at the same time.

They didn't get TV time when they were little. It actually contributes to ADD.

I would say, take him to a good Naturopath and see what they say. Sometimes they know things MDs have no clue about.

Hi W., you sound like a caring mom. Please please please don't let your baby watch TV, it is really not good for him. He needs YOU, to be looking into his eyes and interacting with him as much as you possibly can. That is one of the best things you can do for his development and emotional security. I hope all goes well with both of you.

hi -
did you get a chance to look into early intervention services? or if you have insurance - physical therapy and/or occupational therapy? physical therapy can help with the "flat" head, and showing you ways to work on strength, rolling, sitting. occupational therapy can work on grasping objects (along with strength, etc)

hope all is well

Well it sounds like your son is a wonderful little guy. :)
I did want to say one thing though: I know as a mom its so easy to fall into the "let the baby watch tv while I do some chores" routine, but all the studies have shown that watching tv before the age of two slows down all progress- like talking, word comprehension and body strength.
Again, I know its hard as a mom but perhaps instead of tv you give your little one a book to chew on, or some toys to play with? I assure you, the little brain of a child will find endless enjoyment from any of these "non-tv" items.
Good luck! Love is what babies love most :)
