What Daily Facial Moisturizer (And Other Face Stuff) Do You Like?

I wear moisturizer with SPF daily. I'm looking to switch to something more organic/natural. I've considered doing Origins, for example. I'd love to hear what moisturizers you like. And, if there are any other face things you like to use, I'd love to hear it. I figure that I need to start taking better care of my skin. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I use Origins. I swear by their eye creams, especially the eye doctor for daytime, and the nightamins eye cream. I started using Origins in my 20s because I had combination skin that was crazy dry on the cheeks, but breaking out on the chin. Their products were the only things tamed my skin, and I've been devoted ever since. I'm in my 40s now, and even the professional guessers at Great America think I'm in my 30s. It's good stuff. Right now I'm using the mushroom syrum (can't recall what it's called, but it's in the green bottle) and Make a Difference rejuvinating treatment. In fall through spring I use the Make a Difference cream, but for summer, it's too heavy. I also use the eye creams, and sometimes their lip crayons and glosses. For cleansing I use those daily facial squares by Oil of Olay or Ponds for dry skin. You can get them at any drug store. I cut them in quarters and they're still plenty for my face. When I was on a lengthy unpaid maternity leave with my daughter, I switched to Oil of Olay Regenerist to save money. The eye cream was not up to par, but the face cream was OK. I could see a difference though in 3 months, so sucked it up and went back to Origins. When I did the math, it was only maybe only $10-15 more per month and TOTALLY worth it.

My dermatologist prescribed Cetaphil years ago. She was a nut about having clean, healthy skin. I tried it all from Loreal to Clinique to a fancy brand out of Japan called DHC. The Cetaphil is the cheapest and best working hands down. Take it from a Dr and happy patient.

I just started using Burt's Bees with SPF15 and love it. Before that, I was using a green tea moisturizer from Whole Foods. I don't recall the brand but it was about $16-17 for a pretty good size jar. It's usually on the bottom shelf because it's cheaper. I liked that a lot too and only switched because I wanted an SPF for summer.

I also recommend washing your face with baking soda. There is no need for anything else. I started using it about a year ago and my skin has never looked so good. It's cheap and extremely effective. Just be sure to moisturize after.

Cetaphil is an amazing cleanser. Lush has great all natural products, their moisturizers are amazing. I'm not a big fan of their cleansers, but I'd buy anything else from them.

I agree with the Cetaphil users...its inexpensive and works great. I've tried a lot of expensive brands and always come back to Cetaphil. I use Kiehls products for moisturizing but may look into Origins also....sounds like its worth checking out. I need an eye cream.

Peter Thomas Roth and Mario Badescu! I had problem skin growing up and had to get medical facials once a week. These are two highly recommended brands because they aren't full of gunk that's unnecessary. They are both available at Ulta or Sephora. Check out the Mario Badescu website if you are interested (I've gotten facials in NYC at Mario Badescu so can vouch for them!). Peter Thomas Roth is known for their daily moisturizers with SPF. They also make a great anti-aging daily cleanser.

Taking care of your skin is a great idea since it's the only accessory you have for life. There is a new skin care company in town called Votre Vu and I would highly recommend trying the product line. For better results, I recommend a regimen that consists of wash, tone, serum and moisturizer and it only takes a minute. Our lab has been making skin care products in France for 80 years so they know what they are doing. You can learn more about our products and see what others are saying about them by visiting my website, www.votrevu.com/sallybriar. Let me know if you have any questions and if you'd like me to send you some samples. Good luck!

Just because its Natural doesn't mean is safe and good for you. I always check with http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/ before buying. But you need to buy something that goes with your skin type :)

I use the natural dead sea minural stuff from bath and body works. I have major oily skin and my husband has exsama (total misspell..lol) but it works for both of us. I like it because it also has a mask and moisterizer you can buy in the same "flavor". its farily inexpecive.

I don't know if it's all natural or anything, but I love Garnier's moisturizer. I believe they have one with spf, too. I also like BBW CO Bigelow moisturizer. Both are very light and I know that Bath & Body Works does not test products on animals.

I second Kay's answer! I don't sell Arbonne but I am more than willing to plunk down money for it! I am VERY picky about what I put on my skin and I LOVE these products.
I was so worried about my skin because I don't get much sleep. I am 31 and have always had fantastic skin but in the last year I have noticed that exhaustion and stress were accelerating the aging process on my face.
After a few days of using Arbonne, my skin was fantastic once again!
I love their shampoo and conditioner too!
