Try the "Huggies Overnight". They are great. I used them on my son. I used to order them through www.diapers.com or through www.amazon.com. I could never find them in the store.
My daughter is almost 8 months old and about once a week she wets through her diaper at night. Sometimes it gets so bad that her entire bed is wet in the morning. It's not like she is too small for the diapers because she is still so small and they are still a little big on her. I just don't know what to do because it makes it hard in the morning to just get up and go when I have to give her a bath before we do anything (we do baths at night). It also makes it hard because it makes me pull her sheets off more than once a week like I already do. I usually put her to bed with a bottle because she won't fall asleep with a pacifier. I am at wits end and I need help.

Huggies overnights...well worth the extra cost!!!!
With our son we noticed when he started wetting through it was time to change the size. Sometimes the different brands fit a little differently so you might try the same size in a different brand. Also he uses the Huggies nite time diaper now that he's older (14 months, started around his birthday) because he would wet through every night. He sleeps on his stomach so if you have a tummy sleeper that could be your problem. All the pee goes to the front and then with them squishing the diaper is leaks out the top. If nothing else works try and get those pads that you put under the sheet.
Hi! I went through the same thing with my daughter. Her diapers fit her fine, but I did go up one size for nighttime and that did the trick! The next size seemed big for her, but she needed the extra absorbancy. Good luck to you!
We used to "double diaper" both my girls when they were about that age. It seems like a waste of diapers, but it worked. We put one diaper on top of the other.
Have you tried overnight diapers? I think Huggies makes them. They cost a little more, but worth it if they help. I also have tried buying a size bigger than my baby normally wears...gives more room for more pee! I have had this problem with all three of my children. You also might want to try weaning her off the bottle at night...gradually giving her less. I am sure the extra liquid doesn't help. Good luck!!!
I'm going to hop on the bandwagon and say buy Huggies Overnights. They last FOREVER because you only use one diaper a night in most cases. My son was leaking through his diaper almost every night until my friend urged me to try them. Thank goodness I listened!!!
Huggies Overnights have been a lifesaver for us! The grocery stores don't carry them, but I can usually find them at Babies R Us, Target, Meijer and sometimes Walmart. We also use "Diaper Doublers" along with the Huggies Overnights which are like sanitary napkins that you just lay inside the diaper for extra absorbency. The only place I have found them is Babies R Us and they're really inexpensive ... I think $2.99 for 30 of them.
Try a different type of diaper for the nighttime. You can try pullups, or good nights, depending on how big she is. They'll still work if they're a little big, as long as they're not gaping. Which could be another reason why she's peeing through her current diapers. They may be just a tiny bit too big around the legs, and when she's laying down, aren't working like they should be.
T.,
I had this problem with my daughter, go one diaper size up at night and it should solve the problem. I had many moms tell me this and it was great advice! Hope this helps,R.'
Is it coming out of the legs or out the top. I love Huggies, because not only do they have the elastic tabs, but they have an elastic band around the back to keep them snug around her waist. Good Luck! I know it can be very frustrating.
Tamy,
Do you change her diaper right before you put her down? Sometimes a little accumulation is a deal breaker. Also, giving her a bottle in bed means she's consuming liquids potentially all night, that's making her pee a lot more.
Also wanted to throw it out there, a bottle in bed means rotten teeth, check with your dentist or peditrician. Milk has sugar and it sits in their teeth ALL NIGHT and as they drink it through the night.
It is also a very hard habbit to break as they get older, try giving her water instead!
