Hello! As stated in a previous post, phentermine does work. However; if you have any issues with high blood sugar (diabetes, etc.) make sure you discuss it carefully with your doc. Phentermine can raise your blood sugar. I don't have diabetes but did have gestational diabetes. Still if I'm not careful, I will react to it with a high blood sugar. When that happens, it feels like you have the flu really bad, just so you know if it happens to ya!) I found that I don't do to bad as long as I really try to limit certain carbs. I can eat bread ok but have to really watch oatmeal, potatoes, noodles (any like chix noodles, spaghetti, etc.) The phentermine will give you mounds of energy and take away your appetite. After a while though, your body gets use to it and you have to go off of it for a week or two. Then you can start on it again. Most insurance will not cover the cost of phentermine. It runs about $30 a month at CVS. Good luck to ya! Shannon
