Thanks moms for all your wonderful suggestions. Yesterday we visited many of the venues that you recommended. We decided to hold the dinner at Capriccios in Flower Mound.

It's not in Lewisville, but I just had an event at Maggiano's in Plano. They did a super job and they have many different sized rooms to choose from. They were really easy to deal with and it was pretty affordable. It's right at the Tollway and Park, so with George Bush, it's not that far from Lewisville. Good luck!

We had our at Abuelo's off I35 and 121. The food was great, they had a private room. For drinks (alcoholic), appitizers, fajitias, all the trimmings, etc it was just around $1K for 30 people. This was very reasonable in comparison to other places I checked out.

Hi J.
We had our rehearsal dinner at Bucc de Peppo. Its Italain and everything is served family style. It was somewhat symbolic for me to have some of the families sitting down for the first time actually sharing a meal. Good Luck

J., There is an awesome ranch, on Cross Timbers Rd, which is Main St.......it begins as Main, then becomes Cross Timbers. I think it is the Circle "C" Ranch. It's on the left side of the road. It has to most wonderful facility and they rent out the great hall all the time. If you have any other questions, my number is ###-###-####...good luck! D.

Hi-- there's is a great place in Denton called "Wildwood Inn". It is a bed and breakfast, restaurant, and has a lovely veranda surrounded by a heavily wooded garden area. I've attended a wedding there.

A unique place would be Studio Movie Grill -- they do all kinds of stuff like that -- you could have a video on the big screen of pictures of their lives set to music etc.

Hi J.,
There are so many places to dine in Lewisville but none come to mind as being somewhere memorable such as for a rehersal dinner. There is a place in Roanoke which is very special - great food, etc.
http://www.theclassiccafe.com/ check it out.....
Another place that is fun and could be easier on your budget is Babe's.
In Flower Mound there's Sonoma Grill....
at the shops in Highland Village there's Patrizio's http://www.patrizios.net/....
there's also The Grotto in Highland Village
I'm sure there are more. Have fun!

Salerno's in Flower MOund is GREAT! I had my rehersal dinner there along with my other siblings! Great food and private room! AlsoSpring Creek BBQ has a private room for a more casual place --- we actuallywent to a rehersal dinner there once!! I hear Tierny;s is great and new in Downtown Lewisville with great food and I am sure they would accommodate you! I have lived in LV my entire life! I am thinking Macaroni Grill and Saltgrass might have private rooms too! Good Luck!

If they like italian food, Salerno's Restuarant is a great place for the dinner. They have a big back room to sit everyone together away from the other guests eating.
The food is wonderful and priced very reasonable.
They are off of 2499 1 to 2 blocks off of 1171.

There is this place that I found on the internet. Haven't tried it but it looks cool. Little Pete. Looks like they are on the lake. If you want to try and need a voucher, you can go to restaurant.com and buy a voucher. They are having a 60% off their vouchers. Discount code is GENIUS So you buy a $25 gift voucher for about $4. You can the voucher immediately. Just print it off. The minimun you have to spend is $50. But there is a savings of $21 for a meal of $50. I have tried a few restaurants and they are actually not bad.
La Hacienda off of I-35 and Frankford is a great restaurant. They have a BIG banquet room that would be great. It has a fireplace and is separated from the rest of the restaurant. Plus it is close to the kitchen and the bar.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Cristina's in Flower Mound, a little bit passed the Pumpkin patch. We had over 60 people and it was very affordable. We did stations for fajitas, fish and other sides. Margaritas are excellent. There is a back room for private parties.

My husband's brother just got married and they did it at Johnny Carino's - I know there is one in Lewisville by the Vista Ridge Mall. They have a banquet room and it was great. We also got ALOT of food for the money. The service was good, I recommend you call and ask about it. They do serve family style, but that wasn't a problem. We got appetizers, salad, entrees (4 to choose from), bread for under $13 per person. Good luck!
