OK, I've gotten one really good review on Vonage phone service. Anyone else got it? Love it? Hate it?
If we change from SBC, I'm sure my DSL rates will go up to- so we may just change them too! Your faves in that area too?

I actually was going to switch over to Vonage last week, but my mom and brother talked me out to it. I guess the company got into big trouble with AT&T about a two or three weeks ago. I am not sure of the details, but I am waiting it out a bit just in case something happens to Vonage. I have Verizon, and I called them questioning the rates of my phone, internet rates, etc. When they found out I was switching, they gave me $15 off for the next 5 months.
I switched from Verizon to Vonage for phone service, I actually work out of my home and have a toll free number. The rates were unbeatable and I have not had any problems.
I still have Verizon FIOS for internet and TV - I have an incredibly difficult time with their "customer service." Case in point, I have been attempting to have the Home Media DVR package installed for over a week now...I have spoken with 8 different people, three have said they would call me back to resolve an outstanding order request (which was not placed by me and they can not figure out why it is in the system)...three people have NOT called me back...I still do not have the service - this also happened when I first signed up for service - it took them a month and a half to get out here to install it...I am incredibly frustrated with them right now - if you do choose to go with Verizon, I hope your experience is better than mine. I have had vonage for over a year and love it!
I've never had Vonage, but we have Verizon FiOs and LOVE it! We have phone, internet (super fast!!) and TV with Verizon. You get bundle discounts, but what I really love is the customer service! Verizon is great, and even tho it may be more expensive than something like Vonage, we will not change our service!
We HAD Vonage and switched to Verizon Fios. Vonage was okay, but calls were not as clear as before. I was more unhappy with it than my husband, but ultimately he made the decision to go to Fios. Since we have been back to Verizon everything is great! You can get your internet, phone, cable/satellite bill all in one and all through the Fios service. We are very happy Fios customers!
Several friends tried Vonage and all have made the switch to Verizon Fios. They are all happy they did.
i have a good experience with timewarner cable i have problems before but they fix all and they have a very good deal for digitalphone cable and internet for less than 100
just call and ask for package offer
We have had Vonage for about 6 months. I work from home and I have only had trouble with the service once, and that was because our Internet service was down. Vonage is great because you get free local and long distant calls.
