Hi,
I would also try Dawn Dish soap on a wet rag. Dawn works on almost everything, I use it all the time.

If by chance that does not work, I go to the Magic Eraser. My son, he's 8, has the chore of washing down the cabinets and walls in the kitchen and bathroom, twice a month, with the Magic Eraser. It's the easiest, cleanest way to get my white walls and cabinets clean. And its easy for him to use without a mess.

J.,
Go to the store and get Grease Lightening, the stuff works wonderful and cleans just about everything. It took the oil that spilled on my driveway when my son changed the oil and it also took it out of his t-shirt. The T-shirt sat in my son's room for a week before I found it. I also used it to take ink out of another son's pants. Again the ink sat for a month before I finally tried the Grease Lightening and to my surprise it took it all out. I buy it by the gallon at BJ's and Sam's and use it everywhere in my house except on wood. For wood I use Murphy's Oil Soap.
Hope this helps.

Hi J.:

I'm thinking place powder on a warm, damp rag and wipe, the powder may help to grab the vicks and remove it. Try on a small area first. Also, vicks is a very toxic substance to use. The petroleum is the same substance that creates car tires. Please use safe methods.

Contact me if you would like more information.

All the best,

J.,

Well, maybe you should just leave it there, in case you all get colds! LOL Sorry, but I couldn't resist....
How old is your little devil that did that?

Seriously though, I would rub off what you can with some paper towels, and then try rubbing some Dawn Dish Detergent over the wall where it was....That stuff is great, and will cut through anything greasy...it even takes car grease out of clothes. Once that dries, if the stain is still there, try one of those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. Between the Dawn and the Magic Eraser, you can probably get most, if not all of it off!

Good luck!

Stick a kid to it! Okay, couldn't resist. Anyways, the one thing that I now swear by are the eraser cleaners - I have used both the more expensive & walmart brand - both work wonderfully - haven't ever tried vapor rub but I'd give it a shot! Good luck!
