A fever of 105? I would already be at the ER.
Call the nurse advice line at the hospital OR just take her straight to the ER.
It's probably moved to her kidney on that side ge her to the dr or er asap.
Take her to the doctor before her kidneys fail!
Hi M.,
Sounds like the uti may have went to her kidneys and now she may have a kidney infection. I would give her ibuprofen and take her to the ER. Her fever is way to high to mess around with and with the symptom of lower back pain-- I would get her checked out again. Hope she feels better soon.

This is VERY serious! You need to get her to the hospital. She probably has a kidney infection and to let it go untreated could result in a lifetime of problems to include dialisis.
Just get her over to the hospital and get her healthy.
Good luck!
Has she been to the doctor? If not, take her immediately.
As it was explained to me, you can have a billion UTIs but it only takes O. kidney infection to do permanent damage.
Ditto to the other comments about a kidney infection. I had one after I had my son, and had an extremely high fever, like your daughter. I stayed overnight at the hospital onIV antibiotics and had a CAT scan. I got there just in time...the infection was just beginning.
I hope your little girl has seen a doctor, has gotten antibiotics, and is on her way to recovery. UTIs, esp. in children, run the risk of not only damaging kidneys but spreading to the blood and causing meningitis. Holding good thoughts for her, please update us on her progress.
I would call an ambulance so she is taken in right away! Good luck.
warm bath. not cold or hot, just warm. it will help her bring down the temp and make her a little more comfortable. and I hope you're giving her a fever reducing medicine!
You don't say how old your daughter is but a fever that high is VERY dangerous. I've spiked fevers that high and it's ER time. It sounds to me like she could have developed a kidney infection and that's nothing to mess with either.
That fever is trying to tell you something. Get her to the doc right away.
Best wishes.
I would agree with the kidney infection. Same thing happened to my sister and she ended up having to stay in the hospital for like 5 days because she waited so long. She had the uti, and then got the high fever and horrible pain. Take her in asap.
