Using Coupons

Hi! I just had to respond. This economy is been tough on everyone! I had to go back to work part time just to help out! My husband is commission only and in realestate to boot! Anyway, try thegrocerygame.com, you have to pay a little, but you choose a store, and it tells you how to get the best deals. A couple of weeks ago, at Meijer, I got four boxes of graham crackers, two gallons of milk, and three pkgs of hanes underwear or socks, for 10.00. very awesome. good luck!

I don't know of any stores around here that do the double/triple coupons. However, check out couponmom.com which keeps a database of all the sunday coupons. You just need to keep the circulars each week (uncut) and label with the appropriate date. When you make out your grocery list, you can search her DB for any appropriate coupons. Also, she lists major deals each week for stores such as Jewel, Walmart, Target, etc. I can save $10-20/week with coupons.

I don't know of any stores in the area that do this, but I just started using www.thegrocerygame.com. It has really helped me to save quite a bit of money on my grocery trips. You should check it out.

The only grocery stores in Illinois that double or triple coupons that I know of are
Kroger
Eagle
Schnucks

Eagle stores have closed in most of Northern Illinois. Kroger is in Kankakee and I know that there are some Schnucks around but not in my area.

The further South you go in the country, the more stores that will double and triple your coupons.

I know what it feels like, I want to share my story with you. Iam a mother of 2 boys. My husband is the only one working and I have a brain condition called Chiari malformation, we are behind in bills, what I do is collect the sale ads from the week from all the local grocery stores and then go to Super Walmart, they will match the sales. That way you are only going to one store. They only thing they wont match of course is the store brand items. Good LUck
