Tell her as unpleasant as throwing up is, it can really help to get what ails her OUT, as in throwing it up so that it's not in her stomach anymore.
I'll bet she has a stomach bug - so sorry. Keep her hydrated...

My 11 year old daughter went bike riding a couple days ago. LAte at night she came into my room, complaining of an upset stomach. She thought she was going to throw up and had almost did twice. She later was shaking. I slept with her that night and now again she has a mild stomach after biking tonight. The biking was nothing serious, just racing around the park. She refuses Pepto (doesn't want to throw up) What is causing this, and how to help soothe it? Thanks!!!

.Could be she is coming down with something. There is a stomach flu here going around..
No fever?
Mint tea can help calm a upset tummy..
Also a cool cloth behind her neck will also help stop the nausea..
Ginger ale also can help.

Ask her when she last had a bowel movement - it could be that she is constipated and needs some fiber. Also, she could be starting her period soon as an upset stomach is a sign.
Good luck!
Hmmm, sounds like maybe a call into the doc is necessary? Has it been really hot where you live? Maybe she's a bit dehydrated? Is she getting enough fluids during the day? Eating? Maybe have her sip some ginger ale or sprite. That seems to do the trick in our house.
