Underwear Recommendations

This is going to sound like a weird request, but I don't know where else to go. I had a c-section 9 months ago and due to some complications, I still have discomfort and sometimes pain at the incision. Anyway, the only comfortable underwear I have is "granny" panties. My husband hates them, but understands why I wear them and doesn't complain, but I know it affects the way he looks at me and the way I feel about myself. Does anyone have any recommendations for pretty underwear, yet functional, that doesn't cut so low that the elastic is right at my scar? I have the bikini style from V.'s Secret and they cut right on my scar and hurt by the end of the day.

What can I do next?

Soma (next to Chicos) may have some seamless......no elastic at all.

I only wear thongs from V.'s Secret.

You can get some that are higher cut and won't ride down. I personally like the very low cut ones but I am sure if I were in your situation, it would be a different story.

I have also bought thongs that are adjustable so that you can wear them as high or low as you want. I think I got those at Frederick's.

You might also try Soma. They do have some nice things.

I had a c-section 5 years ago and the scar still bugs me sometimes. Anyway, I've tried expensive panties, but I really like Target panties. I like hipster bikinis. They fit low, but they are loose so they don't bother me at all and my husband likes them. ;-) Good luck!

I have had 3 c-sections and the pain is always there, my new OB said that it is normal with some women. The best ones that I have found are at Kohl's and the brand is MUDD. They are 5 pairs for $25 right now. I have tried Federicks, VS, etc and I love these more then those brands! I hope this helps. :-)

I LOVE Hanky Panky's. The band isn't very tight and it's wide so there is never any "digging," "cutting," or "muffin top" look. They are super comfy!
