A Question About Underwear :)

Hi Moms,
I realize this is an odd question, but I hate panty lines. I also hate wearing thong underwear unless I'm going out and getting dressed up. During the day I wear a lot of yoga pants and need an alternative to a thong. Any suggestions?

You can always go commando!

I personally love thongs. I get mine at Victoria's Secret.

ETA @ Heather..... you are right, no dimply cottage cheese areas should be showing or wiggling. If you are not in shape and can't carry it, wear something else.

What is it you hate about thongs? Is it just the idea of them? I wear them, and I cannot even tell I have them on. I purchase thongs that are comfy. Have you tried Victoria's Secret or a similar store for some thongs that are actually comfy?

I guess another alternative would be the "no line" panties they make. I have never tried them.

Or, don't wear underwear. =)

About the only other thing that doesn't leave panty lines is no panties at all,

I wear a lot of yoga pants too. I wear boy shorts that are body shapers.. Like baili brand.. I buy them at Macy's on the sale rack.. Although on a side note I wear jockey cotton bamboo natural boy shorts for lounging around.. Or sleeping they are cotton.. But don't wear the boy shorts jockey for working out too bulky in crotch and rub me raw while on elliptical.. Under armor brand boy shorts nice for working out. I like the longer boy shorts of under armor so they doll roll on the leg.. Under armor runs small. They look good under yoga pants too.

many young women go commando....

or try a thinner thong....or conversely a wider thong.

or looser pants!

I am so not a fan of thongs myself. I have no desire to get used to them. Nor do I want to go commando.

I wear my Hanes that don't ride up and if I have a panty line sometimes, then so be it. You might try boy short underpants, but unless you like microfiber, your choices are limited, IMO.

Here, here, Heather! I've seen enough younger people jiggling all over the place and it's not attractive. Or their skirt gets caught in their butt because there's nothing to stop it - worse than a panty line.

seamless briefs....the ones that say "no panty lines", personally i dont mind them, when i dont have panty lines i get a little too many looks. Its kind of like erect nipples showing through.

no panty lines and pokey nipples just make it easier for random men to imagine us naked.

I hate panty lines too and I wear Maidenform bikinis. Try them.

I wear the boxer briefs for women. I love them and they are comfy. It doesn't feel like I have dental floss up my crack either. ;)

Soma vanishing edge. I like the the boy short and modern brief styles, but they make several other styles as well. These things don't budge and no VPL! I am a convert, after many years of wearing none.
