Two Positive Pregnancy Tests Yesterday and Two Negative Today

I took two pregnancy tests yesterday and both were positive. The first one had a faint line so I took the test that said "pregnant" or "not pregnant" and it said I was pregnant. This morning I took two again and they were both negative. Can anyone help me out with what is going on? Could this be a chemical pregnancy? I have not started my period.

Ok you can never get a false positive, I was told that by a military doctor that i've been seeing for my pregnancy. so more than likely you are pregnant. Best thing for you to do is go get a blood test done to confirm it since blood tests are more sensitive.

Someone mentioned that pregnancy test can be purchased for a lot less money at the dollar store. If you are going to use them for the next few days may be a good way to save some money,

Good Luck! I am sending you good results!

Make sure you're using first-thing-in-the morning urine and try another brand of test. Or go see your doctor.

Could the test itself be old and not giving good readings, as in hard to read? Try to get another new test - check the date on it.

First of all I think someone should say Congratulations! There is almost never a false positive. It could be that the brand you used yesterday only required a smaller amount of HGC or whatever the hormone is and the next ones required a higher amount and that could be why they were neg. The dollar tree's are actually quite sensitive and would probably give a positive sooner than some other brands(and before you walk all around looking for them they keep them behind the register). Also try first thing in the morning where the level is higher because it had all night to hang out. Good Luck Mama!

HCG levels can fluctuate. You are more likely to get a false negative than a false postive. If I were you, I'd hedge my bet and go see my doctor.

Why are you taking so many??? I usually take one... if it says pregnant I go see the doc & let me tell me if it was right. Ususally they were, but if for some reason is wasn't - I'd most likely spend the whole car ride home crying.

Personnaly - I'd quite wasting $$$ on the home test & go see the doctor.

I suggest that you wait a day and then take a test as soon as you wake up in the morning. The level of hcg in your first morning pee is the most concentrated and therefor more easily detected.

Go to the dollar tree and get 1 test and tomorrow morning take the test when you get up and that should tell you.

If you are still having a concern, go see your Dr.

I wish the best for you.

God bless.

the instructions say that there is possibility that if the test is negative you still can be pregnant, not the different way. go to the doctor asap!
