Last year my son went on a field trip to a hands-on activity center in the Hurst/Euless/Bedford area, and I cannot for the life of me remember the name! It had an art center, tree house, hospital...etc. I would like to take my kids there, if I could only remember it! If anyone knows the name, I would be very appreciative! Thanks everyone!

this was called the Clubhouse for kids only, in bedford. i worked there all through high school. it went out of business a year or so ago. there is another, updated clubhouse for kids only in plano...thats where the owner lives so she moved it there. go to the website, www.clubhouseforkids.com
I believe the place you are thinking of is called Kids Clubhouse. I don't believe it is there anymore, unfortunately though.
Although The Clubhouse is closed there is something similar in Grapevine at a church. It is called Paradise Pond and I think the church's name is First Baptist of Grapevine. It is only open on Thursdays and Fridays and they recently started charging $1/person but it is awesome. Give it a shot!
There is something similiar in the Fort Worth Museum of Science which is currently being remodeled so it is temporarily in the CowGirl museum nearby

Hi L., your first responder is correct. It was The Clubhouse for Kids. It's very sad, but it's now closed. I have 4 children all 2 years apart. When they were little, I would go there and let the older ones play while I cuddled and nursed the babies. There used to be another place similiar called Grandma's house. It too is now closed. I'm just sad for mom's with young ones now, there are no places like this in our area, so you are stuck with the play areas in the fast food restaurants. YUCK!!! Now, I've heard of a new one in NRH called Leaping Lizards, but I don't know the details.....if it's only for birthday parties etc. But definitely check it out. I believe someone said that it's across from the old North Hills Mall.
There's something in Arlington, I think that has the word legacy in it. Hope this helps.

There is something in the shopping center by Target on Glade Road and 121. I cannot remember the name of it. However, it is over in the strip by Double Dave's pizza (behind the Chick fil a). It looks like it would be fine.
L., you may be thinking of Clubhouse for Kids in Bedford, but I looked it up on the internet, and it has now closed. Bummer! My kids have pretty much outgrown it, but we sure enjoyed going from time to time!
