There is a school called Communikids. They will have a new preschool this fall. You can look them up on the internet. They have a Spanish Immersion Program. There is one in DC and one in VA, not sure what part of VA
I am looking into preschool options for my 2 1/2 year old for next fall. My husband speaks Spanish and we are trying to raise our children bilingual. With this in mind I would love to find a Spanish Immersion preschool program for my daughter. I know they have these programs on the elementary level but am not sure about the preschool level. Does anyone know of one? I am willing to drive a bit. We live in Falls Church.
I would also love to hear any suggestions for regular preschools in the Falls Church, Vienna, Arlington area. I’m looking for something 2 – 3 days a week, half days.

Hi M.,
I was actually looking for the same thing for my 2.5 year old but I work fulltime and I wouldn't be able to have him go part-time without finding someone to take him to school and pick him up. I didn't see where you live but try www.communikidspreschool.com they have two locations.
I have heard about Communikids but want to find reviews and or thoughts before I enroll my daughter there. Does anyone have information?
My 3 year old daughter goes to Holy Comforter Episcopal Preschool in Vienna and loves it. It's really a sweet school with an outstanding program, and I have been very impressed with the director, Sue Gosline, and her teachers.
I don't know about a Spanish immersion preschool, but at the preschool my son goes to half the teachers are hispanic. You would probably have good luck finding spanish-speaking child care providers at a lot of local daycares or preschools. I also live in Falls Church and our preschool is Fun & Friends on Great Falls Street in McLean. We like it for a lot of reasons, so I would recommend checking it out.
A friend of mine had her daughters in a Spanish immersion program in grade school, but not preschool. I could try to find out more information about that, if you are interested.
