Sounds like congestion in the ear or sinuses or possibly an irritated and swollen tonsil. If you drink something hot like tea or soup and it feels better then it is likely a tonsil thing. A decongestant may help too.
hard to discribe.... a slight dull pain what seems to be in my mouth. When I yawn it aches on the side off to my throat . It does not hurt to swallow, bite down,or when I eat or anything. It is like my ear is plugged but it is not plugged but it aches inside but not in my ear. I am wondering if this is a sign of a tooth ach. ??? I know it can affect things in different parts of your mouth or throat.
any thoughts. I know I need to go to the dentist for a cleaning. It has been a year. I just have not had the money.

I get a funny feeling in my jaw and ear when I clench my teeth alot. Too much stress! My teeth ache but are not painful like a real toothache. I have a mouth guard, kind of like a retainer that keeps me from grinding my teeth when I sleep but sometimes I do this during the day and don't realize it til all those muscles ache.
We have a dental clinic in town for those who can't afford it otherwise. There is also a dental hygiene program at our community college. If you have something like this nearby, you may be able to get a free cleaning by a supervised student.
you have a toothache. and this is going to sound stupid but i had an ex boyfriend tell me this and it works. take a decongestant or allergy meds it will make your toothache go away.ears nose and throat are conected that is why some docs are ents ear nose and throat. so allergies are nose , ear ache is ears, sore throat is throat and how the teeth factor into this is beyond me but they do. take a decongestant allergy med and you kick them all in one shot till you get to the dentist and doctor
Another possibility is TMJ - temporo-mandibular joint issues. It comes from grinding or clenching the teeth, particularly under stress. It's that joint that is up sort of near your eat - The dentist can check for that and also look into your throat.
Sounds like some sinus pressure to me...
If it's a sinus issue, you'll notice a difference if you take a good decongestant... you need the kind BEHIND the counter. Ask the pharmacist... you should notice a difference pretty much right away.

Sounds like your sinuses are acting up. Your sinus cavities are all connected through all those areas. Google a picture of sinus cavities. If you have an actual sinus infection, you will need an antibiotic. Otherwise, try some sudafed and saline spray to clear it up. I always say it feels like my teeth are going to fall out. If you are blowing out dark green and it burns, it is probably a sinus infection.
It sounds to me like a middle ear infection. In the tubes between your ears and your throat, which would affect your hearing/ yawning. You probably just need an antibiotic for a few days.
It can also be swollen glands in your neck. Common if you had your tonsils out. Kinda like a sore throat that you can't see and puts pressure on your ears so you think your ears are infected they hurt so bad. My get so large I can feel and sometimes see the neck swelling.
A doctor can give you antibiotes to fight the infection. I usually use airborne, Zicam, hot tea and that takes care of the minor infections.
Do you have a cold or allergies? Everytime I get a cold, the top portion of my jaw aches. I went to the dentist one time thinking I had a cavity but he said my teeth were fine. Sometimes the sinus pressure can put pressure on your jaw.
