This Dream Has Me Really Shaken up Today?

I am 36 weeks pregnant and I know that pregnancy, especially towards the end can bring on crazy dreams but this is just too bizarre to let go. I wont go into details about the dream but I will say that it felt more like a premonition than a dream as I wasnt in the dream at all but just watching it unfold (almost de ja vu style). It was about my quasi step brothers best friend whom I've never officially met, just saw in passing at his wedding last summer. Anyway, long story short I watched him leave a party and then didnt see it happen but knew that he died alone in his car after having an accident running from the police that were trying to pull him over. Why on earth would I dream this? I dont even know the guy and he hasnt come up in conversation or anything so there is no reason for this. Im just so freaked out and everyone that I talk to tells me that its no big deal and to let it go
Im not really sure what my actual question is but any insight to this would be great
Thank in advance

What can I do next?

I wouldn't say that dreams don't mean anything, you hear all the time of people having a dream and then it "comes true". If it were me, I would just call my step bro and tell him about it. The very least it will make you feel better maybe that he can "warn" him.

Last night I had a dream I was having sex on the floor, specifically on the carpet (we only have tile in the entire house, that we HATE) and in my dream I was thinking how great it felt (the carpet, not the sex!). So I think subconciously I REALLY want carpet in the house when its time to buy! Lol!!! And well, its hump day after all. Hope this at least gave you a chuckle. =)

Dreams don't mean anything. They're just your brain cleaning out its cache, de-fragging, and rebooting.

I'd say just call up your step brother, and tell him about your dream. Let him know preggos dream some craaazy stuff, and you can't shake that weird feeling about it. He will most likely tell you his friend is just fine, and you're nuts ;)

Have a good day mama!

I agree, call your step brother. I have had dreams like this before, and I swear talking to the person it was about made them more aware, and they managed to change what happened. Some people think I'm crazy, but I figure, it's their right to have their own opinion.

Death in a dream does not mean physical death but transition or change. Something in his life is about to change.
Police are an authority figure. He was running from an authority figure; that could mean his boss or his job or something he feels he has no control over but has control over him.

I think what this dream means is that he is unhappy with something in his life and wants to change it or run away from that thing. This is not a bad thing. Sometimes we get into careers or jobs that while they take care of our needs for a home, food ect the job leaves us feeling empty or unfulfilled. It takes a lot of courage to leave a good job and follow our hearts.

If it makes you feel better, I'll share a disturbing dream from when I was pregnant. My newborn baby was taken, deep fried, served to me in a to go box and I realized half way through what I was eating. I've also had dreams about random people. Dreams aren't premonitions but they can reflect subconscious thought. One helpful tip I heard was to imagine yourself as every person in the dream - that might give you some insight.

Have you had premonitions in the past?

This is still likely a fear based dream that has to do with your pregnancy.

People do have odd dreams during pregnancy and I think it is because we are afraid. You may feel like running away yourself. After all pregnancy isn't something you can change your mind about and can be a tad scary. Hence, a dream about running and dying isn't so weird.

I just dreamed last night, that a woman that I only social media with, and havent seen for over 5 years. Was pregnant with 6 babies, and they came out with hair all colors of the rainbow, one gave me a flower and asked me to dance. I AM NOT pregnant, but she is in real life. Strange what dreams do. Most people think they have some meanings, maybe some do. However if you never had a dream come true before, dont count on this one happening either. In reality, and scientifically its your brain dumping all useless info in order for it to take in more useless info the next day.

I think some dreams are a reflection of your feelings.
I dream every day, but many times when I am stress, mad or worry about somebody I dream about that person.
I remember once I was very mad at my husband and went to sleep and I woke him up with a wack!
I told him: You cheat on me on my dreams!
he said: it was a dream!!
I said: Yeah, well if this was for a dream imagine what would it be if it was real!
Ha, poor men must have his space saved on heaven for his patience.
You maybe are worry for something?
Or could also be like other said, just your brain rebooting.

Hi,

If I were you, I would mention the dream to your step-brother's best friend.
It does sound premonitory and it can't hurt to pass the warning along. You
could actually prevent it from happening. I had a similar situation with a foreboding dream and took steps to make sure it didn't come to pass. I have a great interest in these metaphysical issues and several personal epiphanal stories that changed my mind and my life. It can't hurt to warn your step-brother's friend, and you could be doing him a big favor.

All the best,
