I have the Combi Twin Savvy XL I bought it at elitecarseats.com for I think $299. I searched everywhere and tested every double stroller I could find. I wanted a side by side light weight stroller and this one is perfect. It even comes with cup holders for the kids which is very hard to find on a side by side stroller. My children are 16 months apart so we have to use a stroller just about everywhere we go. I have never had any problems with steering or fitting through any door ways. It is so light and when it folds up it tri-folds. Such a space saver since I have two a single and the double stroller in my Tahoe at all times. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this stroller I love it. The con I can think of is that it is not made to go off the sidewalk. If you want to be able to use this stroller on walking trails or any other outdoor fun with no sidewalks this is not the one. The wheels are not big enought to off roading :). Other than that it is a great stroller

I've been looking at the Graco Quattro Tour Duo...it's smaller than the Duo Glider and supposedly a lot easier to maneuver. I'm not a big fan of the side-by-side strollers...and since you love shopping, you already know how hard it is to fit a regular stroller through those narrow aisles, let alone a side-by-side.

I love my combi side by side. They are a little pricier, but well worth it. It folds very easily and is light enough to pick up and push one handed.

I have the fisher-price with the jump seat in the back. I used to have a double stroller that was side by side and was soooo difficult to manuver. This one is easy to use and it folds up nicely and fits in the back of my tiny car. My kids are 13 months, 3.5 and 5. The baby rides in the stroller and the older ones take turns riding in the back when we are out. It also has 3 cup holders and a big storage area underneath.

Hi K.
I have the Graco Duo Glider. I don't have too much of a comparsion since my older son decided he would not use a stroller for any reason. So we have used the stroller twice since we got it. If you are interested in buying the Graco, I need to sell mine. It is in perfect condition, literally! Just let me know! ____@____.com

When my twins were younger, I had a duoglider. I liked it a lot. It was pretty easy to transport, as double strollers go anyway. My boys stopped riding in a stroller when they were about 3. They just got too big to comforably fit in it. I have seen strollers where an 'older' child can either stand on the back or sit on a little step on the back. That might be a better (maybe less expensive?) choice for you!

I have the Phil and Teds e3 double stroller....wonderful! Look for it online at philandteds.com. You can use it as a double or single when needed. They are a bit on the expensive side so ifyou are thinking of having more children it would still be a great investment. Very compact but slightly heavy. folds up ok. We love love love ours!

I purchase a Chicco side by side and love it! I just could haul that front and back thing around the mall one more time!
I have a very tall 3 1/2 year old and a 1 year old.
It's kind of like a umbrella stroller with more. It has nice storage underneath and great support for the little ones feet.
I went to a place called Lone Star Baby and Kids at the corner of 75 and Royal to test drive one. I bought it on Walmart's web site and had it shipped to a store close to me by passing any shipping cost.

In the store we "test drove" a Peg Perego Aria Twin side-by-side and it was AWESOME. It weighs nothing, and folds to nothing. However, it is very pricey. I did some research and ended up with an Inglesina Twin Swift side-by-side and have been pretty happy with it. It's heavier than the Aria, but still folds small. Folding was stiff at first, but it's gotten looser with time. The canopies are goofy, so we've never used them. Both the Aria and the Swift are narrow enough to fit through a standard doorway, which was as high on my list of features as the compact fold. Bonus for my husband is that the Inglesina was the tallest stroller on the market at the time, so he has no problem pushing it comfortably (he's 6'1").
I believe there are soe other options out there now, like maybe a side-by-side double from Combi.
The Swift was under $200 and we've gotten our money's worth out of it.
We bought it at albeebaby.com. They had the best price and offer free shipping.

I have always disliked the duo glider because to steer it easily, the older child needs to sit in the back where there is limited leg room. I have a double jogger that I love love love, but it is hard to take places. This year I bought a double Maclaran, it folds flat and weighs very little and takes up almost no room in the car. We took it to Disney and it was fabulous - with your kids at the ages they are, they will fit great. I know they are expensive, but if you can find a used one, it's still great. It's a good company and you can easily buy any parts that you need. It's the #1 stroller in cities like New York and Chicago where people don't have cars and just use a stroller to tote their kids every day. It is also taller than a double umbrella, so you don't have to break your back pushing it if you are normal height or higher.

I bought a used one off of Craigslist to use on field trips. I have an 18 month old who is about the size of an ave 2 year old or a little bigger. I also watch a 14 month old who is very small and petite. This stoller works great for us...it is a bit bulky but very easy to push around. It doesnt feel real heavy. It is hard to manuver around tight spaces but I am very happy with it.
