I have gone there just for yearly paps and find them very rushed with me and not wanting to develop any type of patient--doctor relationship. However, I have friends who went their through their pregnancies and seemed to like them. I guess it depends what you need them for. Good luck!

I personally have not but have a girlfriend that just delivered via c section in February and loved them.

Whether you are looking for a OB or GYN I would also recommend Tampa Bay Womens Care. DR's Dillon, McNulty, Qureshi and Whitcomb. I am getting ready to have baby #4 and Qureshi has delivered all 3 so far. I would follow these Dr's anywhere. I am some one who has had weird things happen and need to be watched during this pregnancy. I never feel like a burden to call and ask the nurse questions or come in off my normal appointments. They have a office on BBDowns in front of UCH.

I have been seeing them since my second son. I delivered by c-section then and I am scheduled for another c-section tomorrow. I love the womens group. They are very understanding and helpful. The only office I find better them them is there sister office near St. Jospehs Hospital.

They are all extremely nice and good at what they do. There will be some that you might "mesh better" with and that will just have to be determined once you start going to them. Good luck!

I have been going to the Woman's Group for 3 years. They delivered my 2nd child - my first was delivered by a high risk facility. My personal favorite is Dr. Waba, but they are all very nice and have a great bedside manner about them.

I am 32 weeks with my first child and am going to the Woman's Group on Amberly Drive. I have seen a different doctor/nurse practitioner every time, and every visit has been positive. They have always taken the time to ask my husband if he has questions, which he appreciates. Since this is my first, I have called the OB nurse line too many times to count and they have always been very helpful ans supportive. We haven't gotten to delivery yet but so far I have been very pleased with their services and will return to them with any future pregnancies.

Hi L.,

I've been going to The Woman's Group on Amberly Drive since they opened that branch & am extremely happy with them. The doctors there delivered both of my children & I have nothing but good things to say about them. All of my friends also go there & are very pleased with their care also.

We love the Woman's Group. We started our care at the MLK office when I was about 7 months pregnant. We moved here from Alabama and we found the office very helpful in our transition. We saw Dr. Butler, Dr. Cohen and Dr. Rousch and were satisfied with the level of care that we received. We liked Dr. Rousch best and she was actually the one who delivered my son at St. Joe's. Now that we are closer to the Amberly office, we will go to that one instead of MLK when we decide to go for baby No.2. I also love the fact that all the doctors there are women.

Great! Great!! Great!! I have been going to them for years - started w/ Dr Butler at the MLK Jr office and then went to Amberly when I got pregnant w/ my daughter - Dr Wahba delivered my daughter and then I just had a baby boy 2 months ago and Dr Rouse delivered him. Cannot say enough about all the Dr and the staff - would never go anywhere else. All of the Dr's are wonderful. Their office on W.Virginia is great also.

I had a horrible experience. I was scheduled for the first appointment of the day. I arrived early with my completed paperwork (as requested). I was put in an examination room and left for over 45 minutes. The office manager could provide no explanation for the wait. They seemed surprised that I was there and I think they actually forgot about me. It was terrible. Unfortunately, I had heard good things about Dr. Wahba... but I will never find out if they were true!

I previously treated with Dr. Cohen as well as a nurse practitioner at the MLK address. I did not like my experience there at all. I didn't really like the staff, the doctor, or the nurse practitioner I treated with (she seemed rather arrogant and judgmental). I don't feel like the doctor listened to me (particuarly when I'd complained that I wasn't pregnant yet after trying for several months, and she then recommended I get on the pill because my periods would then be lighter and I'd have less cramps). When I got pregnant shortly thereafter, I certainly didn't continue to treat there.

I have only positive things to say about the Woman's Group. I started going to there in 2003. I previously went to Tampa Obstetrics (15 yrs) and grew tired of their cold, inpersonal appointments. My primary doctor recommended the Woman's Group. They helped me with some infertility testing and to subsequently become pregnant. In early 2004 they helped me through a difficult miscarriage. Then a few months later we got the opportunity to adopt a baby. The doctors at the WG agreed to accept our preganant birth mother as a patient late in her pregnancy even though it was typically against their rules. We were able to be at the birth and saw just how awesome the doctors were in the delivery room. Then I became pregnant when our newborn was two weeks old. SO we were able to see them in action again. I had some complications late in my pregnancy and they were very helpful, warm and caring. All turned out well. One of the things I missed the most about no longer being pregnant was not being able to see them as often. Once or twice a year is just not enough.

Hope this helps.

I went to The Woman's Group on Amberly for my 2nd pregnancy. This was 2 years ago and still go there for my yearly visits. I think they are a wonderful group of doctors. The only problem I had was wait times. Be prepared to wait in the waiting room for quite a while. They have a huge patient load. Once I figured this out it was ok with me. I always brought stuff to do while I waited. I look at it like this, if you pull up to a restuarant and the parking lot is full, it must be a really good restuarant. The ones with no cars are the ones you don't want to go to!! So I figure if their waiting room is full it is b/c they are great doctors!!
