The Village Church in Highland Village

My family and I used to attend bc I used to attend the devo that Matt Chandler did in Abilene. They have a great service and my kids loved it (well other than the fact that my youngest is going thru his separation anxiety stage). Just know that if you go, you'll need to get there VERY early. We usually got there about 45 min before service started to get our kids to their classrooms and get seats. We finally found a new church home bc it ended up being about a 4 hr ordeal everytime between commuting there and having to get there so early. It's a GREAT church tho and hopefully things will improve time-wise when they get their new place going. Dont know how much that helped??

i am a member of that church(in which i LOVE...also grew up in that church)....The Village is growing at a very rapid pace despite all the attempts to slow it down! If you plan to visit again i highly reccomend one of two things...1. go to a saturday night service( 5 or 7 but the 7 is a better bet for you) or get there early enough so you are guarenteed a seat. They quite frequently turn people away due to capacity reasons! Matt has been on "sebatical" but think he will be here again this weekend?! Good luck

There is also a Village Church in Denton now. They telecast. We don't attend that church, but we are currently counseling a couple that attends. They love it. Several of our friends attend as well.
