i organize the federal way moms meetup group. there are several moms groups on meetup.com in our area, so check them out!
the federal way one does mostly morning, weekday events with the kids: coffee, kids play places, malls, in home playdates and such. we do have moms night out's and in's a few times a month that are always a nice break! we do a family event every other month, and have recently started doing some evening events to cater to our WOHM moms. we do things on the weekends occasionally too.
our calendar is pretty full and we have a lot of different discussions going on on the message board there that help us to get to know each other as well as to have some adult interaction even when we're stuck at home!
i think that generally, most of the mom groups are the same....it's just a matter of finding the one that fits you best. :)
