I am thinking BLTs. I did see a watermelon, tomato, feta salad with a bacon dressing that looked good on the Today show. I have all the ingredients so I might try to look that up and try it!
I'm making a casserole. It has sausage, potatoes, carrots, onion, crushed tomatoes, and various spices/herbs.
Our menu for the next week or so includes potato lasagna, brats with Mexican rice, crock pot chicken breasts, German potato salad, fettuccine alfredo, broccoli chicken divan and, of course, various side veggies/fruits.
No. Clue. !!!
I need some ideas too.
Maybe steak on the grill & salad.
(Leaving for vacation in a few days so I've been very creative & NOT buying groceries this week!)
currently the following are available in the fridge-
turkey chilli
pan fried potatoes, with mushrooms, onions, broccoli and cheddar pork sausage.
spaghetti with a tomato based sauce including green olives and capers.
Hubs and son can eat any of these or cook up their own. I'll be grabbing a sandwich after work on my way to sailing.
Enjoy.

I don't have to make supper tonight! For the month of July our church services are being held on Thursday nights instead of Sunday mornings, and there will be a bbq before the service.
The kids are having friends over. We're doing a taco bar!
Chicken spring rolls with brown rice and broccoli.
Throwing some frozen tilapia filets in some foil with a little butter and putting them on the grill. Have some salads-in-jar in the fridge to go with it.
We just got back from vacation last night. I'm thinking either making Joe Corbi's pizza or ordering some Papa Johns. Either that or I'll stop at the grocery store on the way home for something quick - all of our meats are frozen and no milk.
I'm making chicken burritos with cilantro lime rice
Try your friends on Facebook. I was there last night and OMG all the good recipes with pictures. YUM! :-)
chicken piccatta and salad.
It's too darn hot to cook! We have been having a lot of sandwiches with chips and fruit. We have had watermelon with every meal. My husband got a smoker and we have been smoking a chicken or large piece of pork on the weekends and then using the meat all week on sandwiches, salad, or on its own.
Tonight we are having an asian salad and smoothies. the salad I made up with what I had on hand and it is dang good.
Asian salad:
1 package cooked mukimame (soybeans I think- from frozen aisle)
snow peas from garden
1.5 cups chopped carrots
1.5 cups chopped raw broccoli
2 cups chopped peppers
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup slivered almonds or sesame seeds
some pickled ginger
1 tbs sesame oil
4 Tbs soy sauce
Mix together. I think I might add some shredded cabbage, cubed chicken and or water chestnuts if I make it to the store.
My oldest requested mushroom soup and grilled cheese. They have soccer, which is usually taco night, but she asked if we could have soup and sandwich nigh. Luckily, I have tons of frozen soup.
Cornmeal crusted catfish, steamed broccoli, and fresh corn on the cob.
We're making our own pizza tonight...
