My son is 8.5 months old (wearing size 12 months clothes). What are the best sunglasses for a baby his size? I want to get him some like wrap around ones (found some on amazon for less than $20) because we'll be outside or in the pool a lot this summer.

Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I ended up buying him ones from amazon.com (BabyBanz). They were $14.50 but super cute and very durable. He's only kept them on once so far but we'll see how well they do! I think they are adorable!

Check out onestepahead.com. I bought their wrap-around sunglasses for my baby and LOVED them (so much better than the ones I bought at Target).

Just a coincidence that I was searching the same website and came up with the Adventure KidZ BanZ baby ages 0-2 sunglasses with very good reviews at $14.50. My only objection will be that my 7 1/2 month son will not like to wear them. So, I personally will go for the hat that will accomplish the three things I care about: protect his head, neck and face of the sun. Although, they look cute, I am more practical of the things a buy for my kids now that I have a second one and the economy is not the best for many of us. However, if you want to buy the cute sunglasses, I'd go for the Adventure KidZ BanZ that will stay in place.

I liked the ones from children's place. My son didn't mind wearing them at that age either

I bought some at Target for 5 or 6 dollars. They don't wrap around, they're just mini sunglasses but he wouldn't take them off and actually loved wearing them instead of squinting. :)
Its a trial and error thing, find the ones that work best and go for it!

I got some from a diaper shop called Cotton Babies (can't remember right now what brand they were) but they were foam all the way around instead of plastic/rubber so they were comfortable and they had a velcro closure on the back to keep them on, making them fairly adjustable. My son never would wear hats but he would wear those just fine, and they've held up nicely too.

Cry once Mama, and buy the Julbo children's sunglasses for $30. I got mine via LLBean, but you can find them on the web. They are made in France and are totally UNBREAKABLE!! My daughter has even bent them backward and they don't break. They are high quality glass with all the UV protection. She even has a large head and the large size fit her fine. Again, these aren't the cheapest, but by the time you buy several pairs of the less expensive ones, you could have paid for one pair of the best.
