I am in the Frisco area and a teacher. My kids go to a child development center that is only open during the school year. I keep them home with me during holiday and summer. However, my daughter LOVES her routine (school, classmates, learning)...so I'd really love to put her in a Mom's Day Out 2 days a week in the summer so she still has some type of school environment. I've called several churches but most do not have summer MDO programs. Can anyone recommend a good MDO that DOES run in the summer? My daughter will be 2 in June. So I need a toddler progam...many I found are "camps" and they must be 3 to start. Thanks so much!

Grace Presbyterian Day School in Plano has a 6-week summer program that is great and you can sign up for as many days per week as you'd like. it operates from 9 to 2. It is one of the few MDOs in the area that has a summer program and it is very popular. My daughter went to MDO there for 2 years and we loved it. http://www.gracepc.org/WeekdayProgram

I'm not sure if they still offer it, but when my oldest was 2 he went to Daffodil's Montessori in McKinney 2 day a week from 9a-1p during the summer. He went to another preschool/MDO during the school year.
