Never heard of morning sickness including diarrhea. Probably just an oddly timed coincidence. It happened that way for me, too.
Just this afternoon I took a hpt and it came out positive. I plan to confirm with the dr. on Monday. Right around when I tested I started feeling queasy but didn't think much of it, since it was only slight and I thought it was likely just my imagination. Now 7 hours later I've bee having nausea and diarrhea all afternoon. Could this be coincidentally timed morning sickness or just an oddly timed stomach bug? My cycle has been very off since getting off BC so I could be anywhere from 3-6 weeks along.

Thank you for not asking whether you're pregnant.
Congrats!
Only time will tell.
Congrats!

Congratulations!!! on the pregnancy!!
I think it's a stomach bug that just happened to come along when you found out you were pregnant!
I had morning sickness for a couple weeks before realizing I was pregnant... Then the OBGYN told me I was around 8 weeks... So you could be experiencing either.
Drink lots of water either way. You might as well try out common morning sickness remedies... Saltines, peppermint, ginger... It couldn't hurt. :)
Sounds like a bug to me. Congrats on your pregnancy!
What does it matter? Congrats on the pregnancy! hopefully that's good news, and if you feel crappy, you feel crappy, it's a bummer whatever the cause.
Though I have never heard of diarrhea being a pregnancy symptom...
Stomach bugs do diarrhea and puking at the same time. They start together and end together. That's usually a sure sign it's a bug. But if it's not a bug then it's morning sickness. Congrats!
I was sick at least 3 times per day for 8 1/2 months...
With the diarrhea, I'd say it's a bug or something you ate, rather than associated with morning sickness. You'll know in 24 hours, probably. But you treat them both the same - fluids and the BRAT diet. Ginger can be settling to the stomach but don't have anything if you are throwing up. Once the diarrhea stops, eat bland foods for the stomach.
Good luck!
I'm not sure it matters. You're pregnant. YAY!
Congratulations!
My son gets nauseous and diarrhea when he gets excited (like first day of school). I have friends with the same thing. Kind of like how people get it when stressed, some times emotions do a doozy on our tummies.
If it's stomach bug usually you feel pretty feverish and dehydrated too. That usually only lasts a few days unless it's a bad one. Your doctor will know.
I never had diarrhea with my morning sickness, but I did have friends who had loose stools with their pregnancies. They told me they were more sensitive to foods that hadn't bothered them before pregnancy, and it didn't usually last.
It all coming on suddenly like that just after BIG news, I am guessing it's more from excitement. But drink plenty of fluids, and ask your doctor when you see them. They will know and be able to advise.
