Stephens City, VA Preschools

Hi J.! I am B. Deck and I live in Strasburg, Va. I am 10 minutes from Stephens City. I am a stay at home mom with 5 children. The boys are 15, 11, and 9. The girls are 4 and 3. I have heard that the preschool at the Methodist Church is an awesome one. I had a friend who worked their for years. She has recently gone to teach in a private school. I also have had family attend that preschool. You can find the church right on the Main Street (Rt.11) that runs through town. I am an Educational Consultant for Usborne Children's Books, so this year I decided to homeschool my girls with one of our curriculums. Mainly due to the cost of having to put two of them in a preschool. But if I were to choose one for my girls, it would be that one. Hi, J.. I live in Winchester, and I have neices and nephews who went to Stephens City United Methodist Preschool. They were very pleased there. They take 3 and 4 year olds. 3 year olds go 2-3 days a week and 4 year old go 2, 3 or 4 days a week. the hours of preschool are 9-12:30. And they are preschool only. Their number is ###-###-####. That is the only "preschool only" place that I am aware of. Good luck!

I am new to the area too and found a fabulous preschool in Front Royal (sorry don't know how close that is to you!) at Dynamic Life Christian School, it is a preschool for ages 2-5 and very affordable!

Most of the preschools in the Stephens City/Winchester area are church run. I am not sure what churches have preschool in Stephens City. Friends of mine that live there bring their kids to Winchester preschools. In Winchester there is SonShine Learning Center, Braddock Street, Grace Lutheran, Discovery and Market St. Like I said all of this are affiliated with churches so maybe there's info. on the church websites.
