What are you opinions on the jewerly line? An aquaitance invited me to a party at her house. Wondered how this rated in comparison to Silpada. I do like Silpada but its a bit pricey for me. If I worked outside the home I would be more apt to purchase nicer jewerly but my kids and the lady at the grocery store don't care how fancy I look when I do get out of the house! LOL. I would hate to go to the party & not buy anything but a night out does sound like fun.

What can I do next?

I love Stella and Dot jewelry. I went to a party this year a bought a few items and they are well made and beautiful. I did not find them to be overly expensive. Enjoy

Those kinds of parties are always fun, but maybe your circle of friends can find something a little more affordable or practical. I sell Mary Kay, and we do a lot of facials & spa parties, or makeover parties. If you like food, there's Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, and even Tupperware is coming back around. You can get together & cook with your friends! I've also recently been to a Thirty-One purse party and a Lia Sophia party and they have lots of reasonable-priced items. If you don't feel pressured to spend more than you're comfortable, you won't have buyer's remorse for getting something you'll never use! Just a thought. :-)

I have never sold Stella and Dot but been to some parties.

I think their pieces are cute, but just not the best quality for what you pay for.

Check out Contagious Creations Jewelry.
I found this company on Etsy and have bought a few pieces everything is sterling silver and is really good quality, oh and real stones!

I would much rather support a fair trade small company then a big one that has stuff made over seas.

I think it is a bit pricey for costume jewerly but it's well made, looks beautiful and is very complimentry with everything in their line. For about 3 items you could spend around $150 on the norm. And they charge shipping and tax.

The jewelry is pretty. I went to a party and bought some earrings for $49 to help my friend and I even booked a party. I wasn't too happy with the outcome though. I had 5 friends come and buy but I don't think my party was more than $200 in sales and I didn't get a thing for my efforts. Nothing. Nada. Very disappointing. I think with Silpada you still get something.

I just went to their website and looked at some of their earrings...WOW! They are quite pricey. Pretty, but pricey. The least expensive was a little pair of drop earrings that were $24. And looking at them, I wouldn't pay that much for those earrings. Most of them were $40 and up. I like jewelry, but I, like you, don't go anywhere fancy and don't have jobs that I can really wear jewelry like that to, or any fancy jewelry for that matter. I love earrings (my weakness) but won't pay an arm and a leg for them either. I've gotten some cute earrings at Payton's Closet on the Liberty Square for really great prices. That is where I got my daughter's cheer coaches their Christmas gifts...cute and affordable.
You can go to the party and have fun with your friends and not order anything. I have a party every now and then and tell my friends who are low on income to come and enjoy the company and not worry about ordering anything. They usually come and have fun and don't order. I don't put that pressure on anyone. I know when money is low for me, I don't want to be pressured either. So go and have fun and look at the jewelry and ooh and ah, but don't feel pressured to order anything. Hope this helps.
Good luck and God Bless.

Stella and Dot jewelry is beautiful! Good weight, great designs. But I can't afford any of it. I can only buy Premier jewelry, and that's when it's on a discount. But I always go to the Stella and Dot parties and you should, too!
