You give them your childs birth date (or due date if you are pregnant) and each week they send you an email on what to look for in terms of development -- both physical things too look for and also emotional and psychological. It also gives you ideas of how to play with your child to bring out or practice those new skills.
You don't have to give them any other personal information and it's free.
I'd try it. I've been getting emails from the site for the past 4 years and each time they send me info it's of value to me. It's also a great way to search information if you have questions - in addition to this wonderful site, of course :)
