Go to the dermatologist. Laser treatments take them away instantly and it's painfree.

I use self tanners to cover them in the summer, and gave up shorts for my new "mom uniform" of denim capris! I make my own "scrub" of sugar, baby oil and essential fragrance oil. I swear though, when I am using it regularly on my legs in the shower that my veins appear lighter...maybe it has to do with stimulating the circulation because I gave my niece some and she said the same thing! Good luck!

They are blood vessels run amuck, there is no lotion that will make them go away. The only thing is laser or injections.

There is a lotion on the market called Vita K solution. You can get it anywhere. I tried it in the past but I was never religious about putting it on so I did not see results. Its not that expensive though so its worth a shot if you think you will do good at putting it on daily.

check out the dr oz website. he just did a program on this topic whereby they had a women who had spider veins on her upper thighs, the doc (a dermatologist) inject some solution and right before our eyes, bam... disappeared.. apparently, every spider vein has a "trunk" and they inject at the site of this trunk and when you do, it then cuts off the blood supply to the branches (those small squiggly veins you see) ...anyway, even dr oa was surprised.. I know much of t.v. can be "doctored" so to speak, but OZ is one guy I think would say something if he thought it was a hoax.. you can also talk to your dermatologist about the treatments.. the woman they had on their would use tanners (which didnt help much) and instead, she'd stay covered up and not show her legs... at check out his site and see what you think.. best of luck

Laser injection. I had it done and my spider viens vanished. Look for coupons or deals to save money. I went to Finer Touch in Plano.
