I am the maid of honor in a wedding when I will be 8 months pregnant and I gain A LOT of weight! My dress is clingy so that it was stretchy by I don't want to look like I have a huge butt! :)

Anyone wear anything like spanx when they were pregnant- that pregant? I just don't want to crush the poor little guy!

What can I do next?

I don't think crushing the poor little guy at that point will be a possibility ... but man ... talk about being even more uncomfortable than you already are.

I think I'd just wear the dress and be comfortable.

I agree with Angi! Wear the dress and be comfortable! Who cares if your butt is big! You are preggo! Women are beautiful when they are preggo! I know you want to look nice but i think wearing spanx would just make you more miserable because you will be all snug in that thing. Congrats!

They do sell "Power Mama" Spanx that won't compress your belly, but will smooth out the rear view. I thought they provided good support and were very comfortable.

I got the maternity Spanx and wore them to a wedding 3 weeks ago, when I was 34 weeks pregnant. They really felt great. They didn't compress my tummy at all--only my thighs and rear, and they provided great support for my heavy belly.

Just make sure you're actually getting the ones designed for pregnancy--They really are comfortable and perfectly safe for your baby.

Bless your heart.

This is like saying, I am going to be 8 months pregnant, but I do not want to look like I am carrying a baby in my stomach.

It is what it is. The butt is balancing the pregnant tummy.

Ask the photographer not to take any photos of you from "Behind". There will be no evidence in the future.

I wouldn't wear something that would make me so much more uncomfortable at that stage of pregnancy.

I realize your concern but it is not like you are trying to pull off a dress that is too small.. you are proudly pregnant. It would be a different story if you just had a huge butt!!

Enjoy yourself, be comfortable and congratulations on your little one!

I wore pregnancy leggings, by Assets.

If your butt is huge, then it just is. You'll need a dress size to flatter the size you are now, not the size you wish you were. That will NOT be flattering. Support underwear is not designed to shrink you. It's designed to smooth you out. Clingy simply does not look good on every body.

I might be remembering wrong, but I thought I read that it wasn't safe during pregnancy. Something about restricting blood flow. I'm sure they make tpyes specifically for pregnancy, and aren't too restricting.

The thing is, why? You are going to be so incredibly uncomfortable. No one looks super svelte at 8 months pregnant. Every woman is shaped a bit awkwardly by that far along. It's a wedding. You are not the bride. Your butt is not going to be the focus. Be comfortable!!

Spanx are uncomfortable when you aren't pregnant, I can't even imagine trying to get into or out of them that pregnant. And I don't know if they make them because I'm pretty sure it's not a healthy thing to wear at that point. I'd just talk to the photographer and ask them to have pity on you because you're pregnant and want to lood decent in the pictures.
