I am a first-time mom, expecting a boy in August. I am a Kaiser member, and haven't the first clue about how to find the right pediatrician for us. I tend to prefer natural/herbal intervention and prevention over lots of meds. Can anyone make any recommendations?

My pediatrcian at Kaiser Vallejo is Dr. Payne. My kids (12,6, ans 19 months)all love him and my youngest son who is now 19 months old has seen him since he was six weeks old.

I see Dr. Kelly Kute at Vallejo Pedi. she's great! On short notice visits I've also seen NP Jean Wall, she's also great, and is probably into the more natural stuff. You'll know when you meet her. Both great ladies :) I've got an almost three year old daughter and my son turns one is two weeks. Good Luck,

I have a wonderful Pediatrician at Kaiser Vallejo. All 3 of my daughters have seen him and really love him. His name is
Dr. Barry Cohen. He has been with Kaiser awhile and I love the fact that he doesn't rush me and I always feel that he listens to me. If for some reason you don't care for Dr. Cohen try another doctor until you find the one that is right for you and your family.

I am very happy w/ Dr. Kute but I don't know if she's accepting new patients. I've also seen Dr. Martin and Dr. Cohen and was happy with each of them. The profiles on Kaiser's website should be helpful to you.
I like Dr. Gary Evans. My daughter has been seeing him for 7 yrs (since she was born). He is a very opened minded doctor. You can look on the kp website and take a look at all of their profiles. That will give you more detailed info.
