We are having a party to celebrate my son's Baptism and would like to know where I can get cookies for the occasion. I was thinking either round cookies with a cross on them or cookies shaped like a cross. The party is also for my older son's birthday, so we'll already have a cake. Thank you for your suggestions.

I have always used Harper's Bluebonnet Bakery on Camp Bowie near Clover Avenue. They are really great with custom designs on cookies and cakes.
We are having cookies for our Baptism also. I called a couple of places and found Annie's Culinary Creations in Murphy, TX. She will do a cross or round with the child's name and date for $3.00 a cookie. I have tasted her cookies and they are excellent. I ended up purchasing praying hands and Noah's ark cookie cutter and plan to do them myself. I will make them thicker and put a cookie bouquet stick in them. Then I will put the sticks into a piece of floral foam in a basket. I found the instructions for making the cookies and the bouquet online. Let me know if you are interested in making your own. I ordered cross-shaped cookies to use as favors for a friend's baby shower from Cookies by Design, AKA Cookie Bouquet. http://www.cookiesbydesign.com/ They can do any color and design you want on them. The ones I ordered were iced baby blue with white icing trim, writing, and little curly designs. They boxed them, and then I put each one in it's own cellophane bag and tied them with ribbon. They were delicious and reasonably priced. They have locations throughout the metroplex, including Plano...sorry, I don't know where you live!
