Son Needs to See a Speech Pathologist

seeing that your son is 3 or older, I would recommend Child Find. It is thru the school system...my son will be 3 in a couple of weeks and will transition to them from Early steps. With early steps 0-3 a speech pathologist comes to our home- the complany is Therapy Station and the pathologist is Marlena Hoch, but I believe most her work comes thru early Steps. With Child Find my son will go to our neighborhood school 2 or 3 times a week for 30-45 minutes for therapy. It is worth looking into- most insurances are a little crazy when it comes to these services. You can google Child Find hillsborough Fl

What age is the child? There are two programs. One for 0-3 and one for 3-5. School age kids have access at school to a Speech Pathologist. Csll Child Find in your county. This is the link to Hills Cty and it is grant funded program so there is no cost to you.

Does your child's school have one? My daughter's school has one that comes on site and works with the kids that need it. I don't know what costs are involved there but it might be a good start. Good luck.
