I have cavaties and all 4 of my wisdom need to be pulled. I have not had any dental insurance so have not been able to take care of it... well now my whole right side of my face really, really really hurts. I need to get this taken care of the pain is incredible. However I can't get credit so it's been looking like western dental is my only option, I just worry because the reviews on them are absolutley horrible. So my question is does anyone know of a dentist that takes payment plans? Thanks! Anywhere in the Bay is ok

So What Happened?

Ok, I called 800dentist, they can't help. I have called just about every dentist in the area and NO they don't all work with you. I don't have the credit for any of the dental Care or any other credit institution. So it's either Western Dental or 1 other dentist that will work payments with me. However, both get horrible reviews online, that work that was not needed was done or work had to be fixed by other dentists so the bill ends up to be more expensive. Oh and the health department couldn't help either. They didn't know what to tell me.

MzKitty - Have you gone to a western dental? If so what was your experience?

You have to call and ask the dentist.

But remember - these guys became dentists to help people. It won't take much in the way of a sincere ask to find one willing to take payments. :)

Call 1-800-DENTIST...or call your nearest University Hospital that is a, 'teaching' hospital that has a dental clinic...or call your nearest Health Department...all three should be able to point you in the right direction.

Best! Hope you feel better soon... :(

I feel your pain. I swore never to let a bad tooth get to the point of unbearable pain like before. And I never have. Pick up that phone and find someone to help you...even if you have to go to an emergency room.

Carecredit lets you finance dental or medical procedures.

I have medico dental insurance. It's $23 a month. The 1st year they paid 40%, the 2nd year, 80%! It's awesome for the price. Over the last 3 years I've had thousands of dollars of dental work and only spent about $900 total

Check and see if you have Western Dentals in your area. They have payment plans. And don't put it off...infections can cause serious problems...good luck!
