Have you or your spouse used the anti-snoring mouthpieces that stop snoring by holding the lower jaw in a more forward position while sleeping?
They're about 60 bucks, so I'm looking for real life experiences before I order one for my Mack Truck....I mean...husband!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

We got this one:

It works, WHEN it's in. So now instead of waking him up to roll over, I wake him up to put in the Yada!!! LOL

I'm the snorer in my family... and it was getting so bad that hubby would occasionally sleep in another room!

What worked for me was an evaluation for sleep apnea..... I went to my primary care physician, and he referred me to an ENT... I went there, and he set me up for a sleep study the next week.

Yep... I had sleep apnea....... within a month or so, I had a CPAP machine.... I LOVE my CPAP! So does my hubby.......

My husband wears Breath Rite strips to bed! They help. But we've blown through AT LEAST $60 over the years on them...I didn't know there was a mouthpiece! Thanks!

My brother got O. of those mouth pieces last fall and he said it works great. It is much more comfortable than the CPAP and a lot less noisy so he actually uses it regularly. My Brother and SIL haven't slept in the same room for quite a while and now they can since he has been using the mouth piece. $60 would be well worth it for me to try if my husband snored!

No experience with that particular product, but when I was a kid, my dad was the snorer; he could really raise the roof. My mom used to joke that she would duct tape a tennis ball to the back of his neck. I wasn't allowed in their bedroom, so I spent years wondering if she actually did that at night. Perhaps that's a cheaper (and more entertaining) option? ;)

I don't have any experience with the mouthpiece.....but I have lost a ton of sleep due to my Mack Truck too...

So, if you do go ahead and purchase...will you please come back and let us sufferers know how well it works, or not????

Much obliged.

And can you leave the name JIC?
