I am looking for anyone who has had any experience with Slimquick? I would like to know what it's like and what kind of results you had.

What can I do next?

No particular knowledge of Slimquick. However I am a nutritional therapist and I know that most "diet" plans have at least a 90% (usually much more) failure rate in the long term. To truly lose weight you have to decide to stop eating all of the processed, nutrient-depleted junk that makes up so much of the Standard American Diet (SAD). Eat a diet filled with whole foods, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, fish, etc. Spend the money that you would spend on a diet program instead on seeing a personal nutritional coach of some sort. For an affordable option, there is a new website called www.nutritionjustforme.com where you can work with a nutrition therapist intern or a certified therapist. Good luck!

I tried some of those types of diets in college and more recently tried alli. they never did work for me. Right now I have one of those Itouch things and my husband put a program on it for me called (loose it!). the program was free and you plug in your height/weight and your desired weight and the time frame you want to loose it in and it will help you manage your diet. So far using it religously for 3 days I have lost 2 lbs. Mind you I am 5'2" and over 200lbs right now. 3 kids in 3 years and I just kept gaining. anyway. I love this program it makes you chart everything you eat, it provides all the calorie breakdowns even for fast food. you can plug in your exercise and it will do calorie deductions for you. All in all this is working better for me than any diet pill. I am also taking a multi vitamin and a B Complex. I was told by my DR. that if you are good with your vitamins you will find it easier to loose weight as well. I have 86lbs yet to loose, but this method is doable and less expensive than pills. Itouch $130 give or take and the program was free.

Hope this helps
R.

Hydroxycut was just in the news this morning they are recalling 40 products and they have had one death and lots of people with liver and other body problems I use to want to use all those weight lost pills too but you have to think something with such quick weight loss has to be bad for you. I know we all want quick results but try something that is better for your body ( just food for thought )

No experience, just jumping on your bandwagon to ask if anyone has tried both Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig and any comments.

Also we all know from media information that any liquid or bar type diet is only a temporary fix if it even works at all. Good eating plan and exercise and guidance is always the only true answer.

Last year I did Hydroxycut and lost about 10 pounds with eating regular and no exercise and stopped taking it because it gave me heartburn for almost a week day and night. So 165lbs to 155 lbs and Im 5ft 4in.

Just three weeks ago I bought the regular bottle of slimquick. Also thought on a long shot I would try to eat like they said in the booklet provided. Laughed because I have never been able to control eating and always thought a 2000 calorie diet was impossible. I went from 150 lbs to 142 after following the book for three weeks. I stopped taking the pill after two because I ran out. My body is toned also. Do everything in the book it provides. THat is what works.

Long story short its a lot of work. I mean a lot. I have spend most of my day weighing out my food, and on the computer looking up calorie counts for portions of food. If you follow the book pretty close (I had to make substitutions for fish..ick) its works. First you get educated on food. It forced me to eat fruits which I never ate.

At the same time I started working out. I have Comcast with On Demand and it has recorded exercise shows you can watch any time. There were two workouts from the Biggest loser show. Only 22 minutes each. I did that daily. And would go walk 30 min when I had the chance. At first I couldn't do the whole workout then gradually I was able to.

I ran out of Slimquick a week ago. I don't think it really did that much besides provide some vitamins...not really energy or weight loss. I have been losing my weight because I have finally realize there isn't a magic pill.I saw results after the first week and that keeps me motivated. Read the book that comes with the pill and do what it says.

I had ate one night two scoops of ice cream with some fudge and nuts. I counted the calories and was like oh my god and felt bad right after I finished. The next day it didnt matter because I still lost my 1/2 pound that day.

Everything in moderation. The pill isn't anything but could help get started. It's a life change. Good luck.
