Dr. Prosser
Good luck!
My little girl will be 3 in December, and has been with two different pediatricians. We have not had much luck with finding the right one. She is strong and healthy and fortunatly does not have to make many office visits (knock on wood!) but I am looking for the best care from someone with the best possible bedside manner for little ones...someone who really loves children and has a passion for their work and knows how to communicate with them on their level. A nice friendly competent staff would be nice, too! Don't want to get into everything we've encountered, but her well baby check-ups have left us a little dissapointed (to say the least). I am looking for names of pediatricians in my area (I'm assuming this goes to the moms in Sonoma County) who come under the best recommendations with the best reviews from Moms I trust. Please help! And thank you to all of you in advance :)
Dr. Prosser
Good luck!
I would recommend Dr. David Smith, who practices with Dr. Prosser (someone else already recommended him). Their practice is located at 500 Doyle Park Dr in Santa Rosa. A wonderful group of people, all around. ###-###-####.
Good luck!
We have Leland Davis at sutter pediatrics off Airway Dr in Santa Rosa. We've been patients for 3 yrs and he is awsome with kids. Mine are very very shy and they do great! He does get on their level. He walks in and talks to the kids first before he gets down to business. The office staff is also very pleasant. They did have one awful person but she is gone Yeah!
Good luck in your search.
I have also recommended this MD to a few others and everyone has been very happy with him
My daughter sees Dr. David Smith on Doyle Park Dr. She has been seen by Dr. Prosser in a pinch and I really like him a lot! He spoke directly to my daughter and treated her very respectfully. It's a good office and they have pretty flexible hours - including urgent/drop-in hours before regular hours. Great if your little one needs to be seen right away (sore throat, mysterious rash, etc), but not urgent enough to go to the hospital. The problem these days is finding a good doctor who takes new patients.
Our twins see Dr. Frank Miraglia. We love him. He never rushes us and we always get our questions answered. When we were looking for a pediatrician just about 2 1/2 years ago, his name kept coming up over and over. He is one of the few doctors in the area who will meet with parents before the children are born/become patients. He is in the same office as Dr. Leland Davis-Sutter Medical Group on Airway Ct. We have also seen Dr. Davis (and Dr. Brewer as well. They are great too!) Dr. Miraglia has been a Ped for more than 30 years and his experience shows. We give him 8 thumbs up (2 twins and two parents with 2 thumbs up each.) We wouldn't want to have to go anywhere else. We can't say enough good stuff about him.
