There is a water park at Huron Metro Park in Belleville. They have a zero entry pool, lazy river, water slide, etc... It's very nice. You can not take your own food in, but there are many many picnic areas close.

I would like to know where the best parks are and if there are any zero entry pools in the area. Can someone help me out?

The Wayne Rec. Center has a really nice sports complex w/ a lap pool and kiddie pool. The kiddie pool has zero entry, spray features and a small and large water slides. It's been a while since I've been there, but I think they have a certain day of the week for the smaller kids too, and it has never been busy when we've gone.
Also check out the Plymouth Sprayscape-there's no pool, but it's alot of fun for the kids.
Have fun!
Not sure about the 0-entrance, but my kids love the Huron Park. (Not sure about the name, however just take Hagerty S from Ford Rd. it's about 4-5 miles, dead-end in the park, no way to miss it. Enjoy your summar, w/kids, teacher's have a special place in my heart, thank you for choosing to give so much to all the kids you teach. If no 0-entry there, try the Summit on Canton Center rd. they have 0-entry, between Geddes rd. & Palmer.
I do not know about pools, but there are two sprayscapes close to you. One on Ann Arbor Trail east of Beck Road in Plymouth (between Beck and Canton Center Road). It is McClumpha/Plymouth Township Park. Very nice. We just had my daughter's birthday party there. The other is in Canton, next to the Summit in tbe Heritage Park area. If you are unfamiliar with these, please contact me. Both are in parks, both are FREE!!! Enjoy!
