The YMCA (the one off of Beloit just west of Hwy 100) does a great program for birthdays and we have also done Build A Bear at Mayfair.

Not sure how many you're planning or what you're looking for but I've been meaning to check out Big Backyard in New Berlin. I've also had lunch with the kids at Elm Grove Perk and Pub and the kids love the little play area but it is small so it would only be an option if you're looking for small and not too much party. Otherwise the only other option I can think of that wasn't named is Gymboree's Play and Music in Brookfield Square Mall. I went to a party there where they played with a parachute and the kids had a blast. Good Luck and have fun!

I have never been there myself because my daughter has multiple food allergies and it wouldn't be the best place for her, but I have heard from many people how great Stone Fire Pizza in Brookfield is, and I'm pretty sure they do birthday parties specifically too. I know they have a special kid's play area that sounds really neat from what I've heard. Also I'm pretty sure that the Betty Brinn Children's Museum does birthday parties too and they have alot of fun stuff for kids of all ages there. Other than that I don't know, but if you haven't yet you should check out MilwaukeeMoms.com because they have great resources and ideas for kid-friendly places and activities; I think they may help. I know people can review places on there too so that may also be helpful. Hope that helps!

Hi K.,

I've heard great reviews on McDonald's and if it has a play area, then the children are entertained too. My friend had one for her daughter when she was younger and I brought my niece who was 2 and she really liked it. There's one on Hwy 100 by the National Ave area which has a slide for smaller children and my daughter loves that slide.

I read Amie's response and Stonefire does great birthday parties with plenty of activities for children of all sizes and so does Betty Brinn. They have a special room for when the cake and ice cream portion and I think they do activities too with the children. I heard the price is very reasonable.
