Seeking Recommendations on a Great Female OB/GYN in Plantation Area

Dr. Isabel Otero in Plantation is absolutely the BEST!!!!!
She is located in the Publix plaza at Cleary and Nob Hill.

I'm an anesthesiologist who worked in Plantation until 1999. By far the best was Odalis Sijin, and she's female, too! Take it from someone in the medical field who has worked with these people behind the scenes...plus obstetrics was my favorite part of anesthesia!

I'd recommend Dr. Delisa Skeete-Henry. She's off Broward and 441. She has an excellent exam room manner and every one of her staff that I've interacted with has been pleasant and professional. I'm not finishing my pregnancy with her since I'm transferring my care to a birth center. But, if for some reason I have to go back to an Ob/Gyn, I'm definitely returning to her. Plus, she offered to be my back up Ob if it was necessary. I've heard that she is also VBAC friendly.

Dr. Idalia talavera ###-###-####. The office changed its name recently to modern time woman, or something like that and it's just her and another dr, whom i don't like but is about to retire if he hasn't already. I love dr. Talavera, she's funny, she tells you what to expect and she has warm hands. Unfortunately i don't know how she is in labor room as i got stuck with the other dr (why i don't like him) as he was on call, but i love her! The office staff is also very professional and friendly.

My friend used to work for dr. Skeete-henry and loved her as a boss and as her ob/gyn. She was wonderful during delivery, she brags about her all the time. As far as her office staff is concerned she spoke the opposite of what the other member who mentioned this dr wrote, but then again its been over a yr since.

Dr. Jay Cohen is the best!!! He is in Plantation and delivered my twins almost 3 years ago. I have many friends who go to him also. ###-###-####.
