Hi, I'm pregnant with #2 and the OB/GYN we've been going to is all the way in Coral Springs whereas we are in Plantation. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a really good OB/GYN here in Plantation. My only preference is that it's a girl.

Well, we found out that we are about two minutes from the Sawgrass Expressway which cuts our driving time to the Coral Springs hospital down by half so we're able to stay with our original doctor! :) Thank you all for your suggestions. They will come in quite handy for all my other pregnant/trying to get pregnant friends. :)

I have the best OB/GYN in the world. His name is Dr. Jay Cohen at All Women's Healthcare in Plantation.
He delivered my daughter in October. I have been seeing him for over 3 years. I went to him because he was referred to me by mother's and fathers. I wanted to switch to him when I was seven month's pregnant with my son but because I didn't think any one would let me switch so late in my pregnancy, I didn't. I wish I had because my delivery with my son would have been so much better.
I can't thank him or Dr. Cohen's practice for taking wonderful care of me and my daughter during my pregnancy and he takes wonderful care of his patients when they're not pregnant. I feel like he's a member of my family. I can talk to him about anything. He has a wonderful bedside manner.
I could go on and on; I do hope you go to see him. His number is ###-###-####. If you're not comfortable with male doctor's they do have other doctor's in their practice that are female. Dr. Matos is a wonderful doctor as well. They are all great.
I am seeing Dr. Delissa Skeete in Plantation. She is the best OB that I've ever seen! We are also pregnant with #2 and pursuing a VBAC with Dr. Skeete. The only drawback is that she only delivers at Broward General Medical Center (downtown Ft. Lauderdale). I had my first at Memorial West but after doing the maternity tour at BG I think I understand why that is Dr. Skeete's hospital of choice.

Dr. Idalia Talavera, she and her staff are great. The office name i think is modern time woman. There is another Dr in the office, an older man and i had a not so great experience with him. But she is great. The office is near 70th ave on 4th or 5th street.
I was going to recommend Dr. Skeete, but looks like someone beat me to it. She and her staff are all great.
