Hi,
I have an 11 year old who will be starting Middle School this year and I would like to find a responsible preteen/teen group that she could join. A group that has positive role models. She has signed up to play the Saxaphone at her middle school. I am not sure if that will keep her busy. Just thought I would check to see what groups/if any would be available.

I would like to say thank you. She and I have talked and we are going to look into the youth groups that you have recommended. Another great thing that has happened here is that her Dad is now interested in attending Church and helping her find a place she will be happy go to. Thank you all again. Bethany Lutheran has a group for middle schoolers called KREED and it meets on Sunday afternoons...I think they have a singing group right before it too. They do a lot of activities and have a lot of fun. www.blcms.org
Also, Girl Scouts has a lot of opportunities and I know there are a lot of troops around.
Not sure where you live, but if you're close to Cuernevaca I'd love to invite you and your daughter to our church and junior high youth group. Hi L., Welcome to TX. Hope you have enjoyed it so far. Where in TX are you? I have a 13Yr old son that has younger friends that live near us and he goes to their church groups and has a lot of fun with them. There's an idea for you.
