you can go to www.mccscp.com and you can find all the info you need there. its really a helpful site for anything here on base.
There is a preschool through the Child Youth and Teens Program located on Camp Pendleton. There number is ###-###-####. The one program in particular is for age 3 year through 2nd grade. It was held in the San Luis Rey Officer's housing but was temporaily moved while a new facility is being built. They offer part-time and full-time hours and fee is based on rank/total income. The Armed Services YMCA also offers a preschool program for children ages 2 1/2 to 5. This class is for moms and children that meet twice a week for one hour. The fee is $20 per month and they do a lot of wonderful things for fields trips and gatherings. They have several locations throughtout Camp Pendleton. There number is ###-###-####. Hope this helps.
My son is 3 (will be 4 in April), and he attends Headstart. It is located by the South Mesa Staff Club, and in the same parking lot as Brown CDC. The phone # is ###-###-####. He goes Mon-Wed., in the morning, but they also have an afternoon class. I LOVE IT!!! The teachers are wonderful and the staff is Great. He attended a preschool in Oceanside off of Oceanside Blvd., and I was not impressed at all. So, I guess you could say I'm a little picky. Anyways, good luck. Let me know if you have any more questions. I might not be checking e-mail this weekend, but I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
