She helps run an amazing mommy group called Coastal Cuties and has a 3 year old daughter with another baby on the way.

She has done several photo shoots for the moms in our group and did a Christmas photo of my 3 year old, as well as a family portrait of my family.

The pictures are fantastic! She really was able to capture the "essence" of my son and I couldn't be happier with her work. She was also able to capture the "energy" of our family together, rather than just take the standard posed pictures.

Ambyr will come to you or go to a location that you like. In our case, she came to our house first, then we went over to the canals in Naples, Long Beach cuz we live nearby and love the area.

Anyway, I guess you can tell I am really impressed with her as a person and as a photographer.

Here's an easy one. When my kids where smaller, I wanted to capture birthdays, baptismals, communions, and holiday family pictures. JC Penneys. I was very satisfied with my picutes. I joined their membership which saved me money on the sitting fees and I got coupons all the time. I even had some big family pics framed for my house. Good luck.

Hi - i had my son's pics taken when he was about the same age. Got a great referral -- her name is Megan Sachsl her website: www.mommyshots.com --she comes to your house to do the shoot. Then uploads everything on line and you can choose which photos you want. The actual shoot wasn't too expensive... but the photos were a little pricey. She did do great work. if you want me to send you a couple of the pics email me directly. If you want a lot of photos, it would probably be better to order a CD and then get them printed from Costco -- i didn't but now wish i did. One other thing - she was great with working with me on getting announcement photos directly through her more quickly and touching up a couple of the shots.

my absolute fav is kiddie kandids. http://kiddiekandids.com/ I have always had the greatest experience with them. When I have gone other places, Walmart, JC Penny, Sears, Picture People, I have been very disappointed. You will have the option to purchse a CD (or you can get it with a package) and you can print your own pictures with them or with someone else later. (we misjudgeed and even damaged a couple so bing able to get more/ get it back was very appreciated.) they also store them in your own "online studio" on their website in case you didn't get the cd or want more. after a few sessions you can even put multiple sessions on one montage. I don't know where they are located because they come to my son's daycare to do photos there, but Apple Dumpling Photography has been great for us. Our kid was completely impossible to keep still for our family photo and they still managed to get amazing shots. I assume they are in North OC because that is where his daycare is located.

You should look into this photographer. I went to high school with him and just recently saw the work he did via Facebook. Although he specializes in weddings, he does family photography as well. I think his work is amazing. http://marlinmunoz.com/

We live in Orange and use Stephanie Carlson. She is an excellent photographer and excellent with children. She works at our son's preschool when she is not doing her photography. She is very artistic and great with announcements, albums and that kind of stuff. Her website is www.stefaniecarlson.com

We have also used Aaron Wilbur. He came to our home to do our youngest son's first portraits. We were very happy with them. He took pictures of both our newborn as well as our other children and did a very nice family portrait. His website is www.photographybyaw.com. He is very reasonably priced and has one several awards for his work.

I'd recommend and use both of these people again.
