We are relatively new to the area. Does anyone recommend an exceptional OB GYN in the Knoxville area?
I agree with one of the other responses about Dr. Michael Fields at St. Mary's. He's mid 30's very personable and caring. Takes the time to discuss any concerns and very cautious. I hope this helps!
Just in case you haven't chosen an OB GYN yet, I would like to agree with another one of your responders. I also see Women's Care Group. Dr. Katherine Paige Kessler has been my doctor for almost 4 years now and I will never see anyone else. I absolutly love her. She is an amazing doctor and has helped me thorough an rough time after the birth of my son. She went above and beyond her duty more than I ever say!!!!!
Dr. Evitt from Park West. She was so great with the birth of my first child and we just lost our second at 10 weeks threw miscarriage and she has been very helpful. She is more like a friend/sister then a Dr. So sweet! And she is young which means she won't quit the profession any time soon.
Dr. Leonard Brabson is great. He is at St. Mary's Hospital. He did my c-section & was wonderful. A real sweet man with lots of new grandchildren :)
I absolutely adore my OB GYN, Dr. Micheal Fields at St. Mary's. He is just the best and couldn't ask for a nicer doctor.

His office is directly across from St. Mary's Women's pavilion and he's a kind, christian man. Unfortunately he did not deliver my first child because of insurance reasons, but he has been my OB/GYN for about 3 years now and I witnessed him in action while delivering a friend's child at St. Mary's. I remember wishing that he had been my doctor while i was delivering and he will most definitely deliver my next child if I have any more. His staff is awesome as well and have always made me feel at ease. This is a small practice, and i much prefer that to some of the larger ones I've been to in the past. His phone number is 522-BABY

YES! I went to Women's Care Group at Baptist West Hospital. There are several doctors in that group. And, they also work out of UT Medical Hospital, so you can go to either location. My favorite was Dr. Katherine "Paige" Kessler. She's still pretty young, and very happy and personable. She makes you very comfortable.
Just a heads up though, her last name might not be Kessler anymore... I know she was about to get married. But I do recommend her HIGHLY!
