Hello,
I need to take my kids to their first Dental appointment out here in AZ. I live in Johnson Ranch out here in San Tan Valley what use to be a part of Queen Creek.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a great Dentist with kids and good office. I'm hoping for one that really caters to kids and their needs. We had a great one in CA that offered great educational things for them to do while waiting to be called and once in the chair they could see a movie!
Given where I live I am obviously willing to drive to Gilbert unless someone knows of a great office out here. Plus I have to see if they are contracted with Mercy Care.

Yes I completly agree with Dr. James Johnson!!! I took my ten year old there and it was awesome they have a movie theater and its extremely kid friendly they also have video games and all kinds of fun stuff... somebody already recommended this doc. to you but I just had to tell ya I agree :)

My kids (7 and 2) go to Dr. Michaud at ABC Dentistry for Children. They have an office on Baseline Rd in Gilbert and also in Queen Creek (I don't know the road). I did see a post below for ABC Dentristy, I would think they are the same. Great dentists and staff. Very gentle with the kids and they don't pressure them.
No need to make the trip to Gilbert. Dr. Stephen Montoya is pretty close to where you live, actually. My sis-in-law (who has four kids under six) referred me there and I was highly impressed. He was great with my kids and the staff was extremely friendly. The office is great as well, with plenty to do while you wait.
Go and try him out ONE time and I'm sure you'll love it.

They are in Gilbert
We go to Pediatric Dental Specialists in Gilbert, on Guadalupe and Greenfield. The office has a train theme, with a little train that is on a track that goes around up by the ceiling. They have a playground literally RIGHT outside the door, you can see the reception desk which we LOVE for the waiting period. Just tell them you'll be out there. There are several doctors, we see Dr. Ball-he is so nice and calm, and just great with the kids. Here is the website.

Sweet Tooth Dentist. It is designed specifically for kids and I have had great results. We also came from Cali, and live in Johnson Ranch. It was very important to find a dentist that not only offered child dentistry, but was actually good with kids. My daughter has had medical issues her entire life and seeing a dentist was no better than trying to get her to see a doctor without losing it. They were wonderful, and now she is actually excited when it is time to go see the dentists. It is located in the same center as the Gilbert Hospital on Power and Ray, close the the 202.
Dr. Happy (yes, that is her name! Cute huh?!) at Growing Grins, 3336 E Chandler Heights, Gilbert (Chandler Heights & Higley)... I don't have the suite number for some reason... oops.
All 3 of my kids go there... and they don't mind going! Even my oldest who has had dental work done!
