I also recommend Valley Obsetrics. I've seen a number of providers there but saw Dr. Alison Webb for my pregnancy. It's great knowing all the doc's in the practice are women. (from my viewpoint anyway)
Congratulations!

Hi...I loved my ob that delievered both my babies...she is very to the point and doesnt hesitate to tell you her point of view on things...her name is Tamara Sleeter and she practices at Valley Womens Clinic off Talbot Rd. Right up the street from Ikea and directly across the street from the hospital. She is wonderful. Valley birthcenter is wonderful too. you have private rooms and catering to your room when you want the food rocks ( but this could be that i was so starving after having both my boys so anything would have tasted like cheesecake and wine even though it really was liver and onions). The whole staff i ever delt with was wonderful at the hospital and the clinic. everyone is there fro you. and let them know you are a new patient and you are not sure your prego that you verification!! Good luck and keep us updated..ill get the number posted to you in a few i need to find my cell phone it has been hiding from me now for a day or so.
If you do not have any insurance, which I assume you don't, you could still ask for a referral from the Family Planning Center in Renton. They are the most experienced with young/scarred and possibly pregnant girls, and can help find a physician that should be able to meet your needs. Good luck!
My OB/GYN is great. She is in Renton and services Valley Medical Center. her name is Lori Channell. She is younger so you don't feel like you are talking to an old lady. She was my dr. during my pregnancy with my son who is now one year old. She works out of an office with 5 female OB/GYNs called Associated Valley OB/GYN, the number is ###-###-####.

I went through my drs in swedish they were great the clinic i went to i dont know if it was for only high risk pregnancys but they were great from start until my son was born. They took great care of me
I see Dr. Austin at Swedish Women's... it's on Madison St. on First Hill in Seattle. LOVE the whole office! And Swedish is a fantastic hospital! I delivered my first there and I would never go anywhere else! I'm currently pregnant with our second and didn't even think twice about going back to the same doc and hospital... it was a given!
Hi D.-
If you don't mind coming up to Seattle, there's Seattle Ob/GYN: www.seaobgyn.com. I see Dr. Johnson. Dr. Daniel delivered my son. I like it because almost all of the practitioners are female and the focus is women's health.
The nurse practitioners are also great.
You may also want to call hospitals for referrals to women's clinics.
Hi D.... My friend goes to a women's clinic that is very close to Ikea in Renton. She had her baby at Valley, and was very happy there. Her docs name is Naomi Olsen, and her number is ###-###-####. Good Luck!
