I am currently 27 weeks pregnant and found out that my OB is leaving the practice and moving out of the Denver area. Now I'm looking for a new OB. I delivered my 10 month old daughter at Sky Ridge last year, so I'd like to go back there to deliver. Does anyone have any suggestion, or warnings, about OB Dr's in the SE Denver/Tech Center/Sky Ridge area? Thanks!!

A.: I agree with the last two responses, Rocky Mountain OB/GYN is very good. They do deliver at both Skyridge and Rose. I do like all of the doctors in the practice but am especially fond of Dr. Yuko D'Ambrosia but last i knew, she is only at Sky Ridge on Mondays, she primarily practices out of Rose. She is by far the best doctor I have ever had. But whomever you end up with there will be great. Good luck! A.
Hi- i love my OB, Hal Levy, who is part of the Rocky Mountain OBGyn practice. I believe he goes to Rose and Sky Ridge and he is great. I have met others in the practice as well, such as Dr. Dix (female, whose first name escapes me) who delivered my son. I think she is still there. I think they are all great!
All of the doctors at OB/GYN Center are terrific. I see Dr. Grover but have seen all of the doctors there. All 4 of my children were delivered by doctors from this office and they took wonderful care of me when I miscarried a few months ago. Their website is www.obgyncenter.com.
Hello A.,
There is a wonderful female OB at the Parker Adventist. Her name dr. Wiebe. I would highly recommend her. She is very nice and professional.
Good luck!

I have a wonderful doctor he is with Womens Health Consultants. His name is Dr. William Lee. He delivered all 3 of my babies and is wonderful. He has an office in by Littleton Hospital and also Sky Ridge. The number is ###-###-####. I would recommend him to anyone. He has helped with all kinds of problems I have had. I wish you luck.
i love, love, love south metro ob/gyn at ###-###-####. They have offices by swedish and sky ridge - i delivered at sky ridge. i love all the docs there - see dr. harding predominantly but they are all amazing
Hi A.! My OB was amazing. Her name is Dr. Choi (or Chay) and her office is in Praker Adventist but they deliver at Skyridge too. There are 3 practicing doctors there, all women and all wonderful. You see each doctor several times so you are guaranteed to deliver with someone you know, which was HUGE for me. I delivered 3 babies with these amazing women. The Ultrasonlogist is amazing too. She was able to find that my son had a cleft on the ultra sound, which is very difficult to do. Good luck, and have a fun pregnancy!
I love my OB/GYN and she's at Sky Ridge. Her name is Misha Miller and she's at Rocky Mtn OB/GYN.
YES, contact Dr. Lori ____@____.com's located in the medical offices at Parker Adventist Hospital. She'll also deliver at Sky Ridge, which is where I had my son and won't go any where else!
Good luck!

Just adding to a response about Dr. Etton at the OBGYN Center. The number is ###-###-####. I've seen her before and she was great, but I actually see Dr. Ljunghag (pronounced "young-hog") and she and her nurse are just amazing! She delivered my first baby, and I will not go anywhere else for future pregnancies.
I second the recommendation for the OB/GYN Center - they are awesome. Dr. Voss was my OB, but I have seen all the doctors there and they are all good. Here's their website: http://www.obgyncenter.com/
Good luck to you!!!
Ahhh...that would be nerve wrecking when you're this far along! I have a wonderful OB and the clinic is at Skyridge. I also delivered there with my daughter '06. I absolutely love my OB and have several friends that go there as well. The name is John Stallworth @ Ridgegate OBGYN - ###-###-####. There are two other women that work there with him and they are fabulous as well! Good luck!
I absolutely LOVED Dr John Stallworth. He is out of Skyridge and is absolutley caring and wonderful. He is empathetic to the stuff that only us women can be uptight about (like stretch marks) He loves delivering babies. I felt very safe and happy in his practice. Good luck!
Dr. Edwin Anselmi is a family doc in the Centennial area that also does OB and deliveries. I know he does do deliveries at Sky Ridge. He is a great doc, very laid back and takes lots of time to answer your questions. Good luck! I am sure it is tough to change this late in your pregnancy!
Dr. Patricia Brown is awesome. She's an OB/Gyn. Her office is near Littleton Hospital, but she delivers at Sky Ridge too. She is highly respected by her collegues. You can also go onto Sky Ridge's web site and do a search for OB's (you can find Dr. Brown's # there too). She delivered my babies and two of my friend's babies. Good Luck!!
I use the OB/GYN Center. They have an office at Sky Ridge which was very convenient for my husband and I. They delivered my daughter and will be delivering #2. I highly recommend them! Good luck in your search!
Wow. That's exactly NOT what you wanted to have happen right now. Sorry you're having to go through that.
My OB is just the BEST! You will never regret going to this practice, nor find better more caring, available docs! Dr. John Stallworth founded RidgeGate OB/GYN. Dr. Chang (female)and Dr. Zart (female) are just as amazing. Dr. Stallworth delivered my daughter, Dr. Zart my son. they have offices at SkyRidge and in Castle Rock. Their number is ###-###-#### at SkyRidge. I hope it works out for you. Good luck.
My OB is located on Hampden & I25 (roughly) and I love her. She delivered my 6 months old baby at Sky Ridge. Dr Meade ###-###-####.
I echo Ridgegate (Stallworth/Zart) - a big plus is that their office is at SkyRidge, so they go back and forth a lot. I've never seen the other doctor, so don't know about her. My daughter was a "surprise" baby - we found out we were pregnant about 7 months - no prenatal care at all to that point.
Dr. Stallworth took us on as a patient, even at that late date. He was really great, as was Dr. Zart. The office staff is really wonderful and caring - my daughter is now 3, and they ask about her and want to see pictures everytime I go in.
I ended up with a C-section (lots of risk factors, needless to say :-)), and had no complications, scar is very minimal. After care was great. My daughter was born the 4th of July weekend when Dr. Zart was getting married, and Stallworth was in several times a day each day.
Highly recommended.
Hi A.,
I have a wonderful OBGYN. My daugther was delivered by Dr Etten and I still continue to see her. She is part of the OBGYN Center at Skyridge hospital. Sorry I don't have their phone # handy, but the office is in the Aspen building located at SkyRidge. I actually had an emergency during the birth of my daughter and she handled it wonderfully and took really good care of me. All of the Dr's that I have seen have been great at the OBGYN Center. Hope this helps- good luck.

I was *very* happy with the care I got from South Metro OB/GYN (www.southmetroobgyn.com). I had both my kids with them (Drs. Harding and Granadillo) and I think I've seen every doctor there except one. They are all fantastic, as are the Nurse Practitioners. (There was a doc there I didn't like but he's gone.)
I had a few issues (gestational diabetes, blood clotting disorder, previous miscarriage, out-of-country for first half of last pregnancy) and both kids were delivered via c-section. I felt like I got really good care and they advocated for me with specialists at the hospital.
They work out of Sky Ridge and Swedish, and their offices are right next to the hospital at both locations.
Good luck & happy birth!
Hi A.,
I have a wonderful OB that works out of both Skyridge and Swedish. I had pre-eclampsia with my first pregnancy, which he saw comming at week 16. He was very proactive and supportive at the same time. I didn't have high blood pressure until week 35, and delivered at 36. My son is now a happy healthy 4 year old. I am also currently pregnant, about 28 weeks. About one month ago I developed a hernia, with an obstructed bowel. Thankfully partially due to his diligence I did not have to have surgery while pregnant. I was in the hospital for four days and w2e were able to get the bowel to retract on its own. Now I can have surgery after the baby is born, which is better for the both of us. Dr. Gore checked on me everyday, even on the weekend, and was very honest and caring. I would recommend him to anyone. Dr. Robert Gore ###-###-####
Good Luck in your search, I hope this helps.

You have to think about what you want from your birth experience. I am a doula and I work with all types of births and I always say to my clients, you can't go to McDonald's and ask for a pizza, you have to go to Pizza Hut. In other words, do you want natural birth or an epidural, what issues are important to you, then you can be better able to choose a provider. Everyone's birth is different, so it's hard to listen to other people say, I had a great birth with Dr.X, but a great birth to them might be different from what you want. If you want to tell me what you want for your birth, I might be able to better help. My website is www.birthfirstdoula.vpweb.com.
