Hi ladies, I've just recently became a SAHM and would love to find a group for my 4yr son and 2 yr old daughter. They used to be in daycare and are used to constant interaction with others. We are really enjoying being home this summer together but I feel we still need to interact more with moms and kids in this area. We are pretty new to this area and would like to meet others.

I know this is a little late, but just in case you haven't found anything yet or are looking for something else for your kids and you to do, there is a great group called MOPS at HighPoint Church. It's located in Arlington off or 360 & 20, and I know that there are many moms from Grand Prairie that go to the group. It's a great group!! I know there are some really good MOPS groups in the area. Please feel free to check out the one at Dallas First Church which is at the corner of Pleasant Run and Cockrell Hill and it meets twice a month for meetings and the childcare is awesome!! MOPS is Mothers of Preschoolers.

Grand Prairie has a MOM'S Club that has lots of play groups and activities. I think they still meet in South Grand Prairie. Just Google Grand Prairie Mom's Club and I think that will have the info you would need. Good Luck and have fun!

Nice to "meet" you :) I am in your neighborhood and I would love to meet up sometime! I know that the Methodist church on Matthew, north of Polo hosts a Mom Club for GP (non-religious).
I dont have time for groups usually, so I just tend to hang out with friends when I can. I have a little guy who is 3 and two girls ages 7 and 10.
There is a meetup that just started in Grand Prairie!! I have a 3 1/2 old boy and I just joined. They actually have a meet up this Tuesday. The playgroup is really new, but the organizer is working on getting everything scheduled and getting the group going! Ideas are welcomed!

Go to meetup.com and search the area. My playgroup (one I attend not lead) is on there- The Mommy Connection of GP/ Arlington. There are at least 5 meetups a week to choose from and everyone is really nice.
